Unionjack 7,531
Whats the cunt up to? Jose Mourinho breaks silence on new Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri Man Utd manager Jose Mourinho will come up against new Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri for the first time ever. "I don’t know him," he told beIN SPORTS. "When I was in Italy from 2008-10, he was not in Serie A. I never met him or played against him. I just follow football and lately the good work he did with Napoli. "In England, all the good managers have the desire to come. It’s a crazy competition with a high level so I think every manager has the dream to come so he had the chance to come. "He has a fantastic team, fantastic players and squad - I think he has conditions to do good work." https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/man-utd-chelsea-sarri-mourinho-14980519

Somehow I was expecting to see him call our team shit and say that Sarri would never replicate the football we played with him or some BS like that. United always think long term and yet, they hired a manager who is only interested on short term and because of that difference, the club aren't happy with Mourinho. It's almost as if Ed Woodward and co. were oblivious to Mourinho before hiring him. Unionjack

Now that hasn't gone as planned, they are having second thoughts I think. Unionjack

Should have listened to Bobby Charlton, who never wanted Mourinho to begin with.

I don't read RedCafe much, but my United supporter coworker, who was very much pro-Mourinho before, now wants him out.

Hard to feel great when your manager has been moaning about anything and everything every week and your two arch rivals have been outshining you. We all felt the same with the former situation when Mourinho was in charge. Doubt it's any different with the United fans at this point. Mourinho always said he wanted long term after Real and both us and United fell for it. You can excuse us the error because of the emotional connection and the fact he wasn't proven either way in that regard, but for United to appoint him with long term aspirations after his non existent long term ability was so spectacularly exposed for the world to see has to be the most amateur decision ever made at top level football. kellzfresh 7,229
Since mourinho got to manutd, they have signed Bailey, Lindelof, Matic, Pogba, Fred, Sanchez, Lukaku. He already had De gea in the club. The only positions he didnt sign players is in the right wing and fullback positions. Must he sign a full starting eleven before he can say he's ready to challenge for the premier league? I think Manutd are already fed up with him, I won't be surprised to see Zidane after this season. It's comical how after all these years, their first choice full backs are still Valencia and Young. kellzfresh and Vesper

Indeed. They had us as reference but turned a blind eye when going after Mourinho. Guess they were desperate to win trophies, like manpe said, and get a high profile manager after the Moyes and Van Gaal fiascos and decided to get Mourinho without proper thought. Watching his matches nowadays make you wonder if they have training drills and tactical plans at all, completely clueless. kellzfresh
Unionjack 7,531
This may sound petty buy I will enjoy watching Mou go into meltdown mode but the problem will be that ZZ will be taking over. And this means Eden will be his first whistle stop!
