The Mourinho Thread

The old adage in football is that managers should never go back. Guus Hiddink proved that you can return to a former club (PSV) and be successful again, as did many others. If Mourinho waits for Ferguson to retire.. he's going to be waiting for a long time. City are scared of becoming us, thus won't pull the trigger on Mancini.

Why on Earth would City be scared of becoming 'us', Champions of Europe ? They would be lucky to even come close to who we are as a club!

I think term means about changing managers all the time, City want managerial stability (almost for the sake of it) which we should not complain about, Mancini their for the long term suits us down to the ground.

Of course, I also prefer the russian way. City's owners however, like Tomo has clarified.. clearly don't want to go down that route.. just yet.

We are the better 'club', pre-roman era too, no denying that.

I knew the point Term was making I just found an opportunity to insult City with a little tounge in cheek.

In all seriousness though, I agree that keeping Mancini suits us to the ground. I don't tink the constant change of managers would work for most clubs like it has done for us.

"We don't look back, we always look forward and see where we're going, and figure out how we get there.

There's your answer, Mou's not coming back. I'm sorry

Jose is a step forward...

However, asked if anyone had been ruled out of the running, Mourinho in particular, Buck said: "I am completely open minded about it.

If Rafa wins the FA cup and Europa and get the top 4 finish, They might offer him the contract

No, I know you want that but impossible, he (Buck) denied any hope of him staying in the interview, and this means a lot.Anyway, we all know that he'll comeback, why ? lack of options combined with the probable availability of José in the summer.
