When it comes down to it, the striker we needed last night wasn't Ba or Torres....it was Lukaku. Mourinho may well have cost us the league by acquiescing to his request to go on loan, and now there are reports that he might actually be sold at the end of the season. Granted we wouldn't be in the title race without Jose and the millions of pounds invested in the squad (how much credit does Michael Emenalo receive for the purchases of Hazard, Azpi, Matic, Cahill etc?) but we've got a player who would've been like a pig in shit against that high line of Villa's last night.

Would Jose sell a player because he feels like he's embarrassed him?

Jose losts it at the end as well, he need to calm the fuck down. Wouldn't be surprised if he gone on a Barcelona style rant later today, hopes he keeps his mouth shut even though Foy was a fucker.

He was protecting Ramires the best he could as he took as much attention away from the tackle as he could at that time (though he does not deserve any protecting to be honest). Pundits weren't just talking about the tackle but about José as well, so it worked. Anytime Mourinho is asked about the tackle he just talks about Agbonlahor - it's textbook Mourinho. The press love creating a villain, but they love any Mourinho story even more. If he really did lose it, he would've got himself banned but he kept quiet after the game. He did just enough - he doesn't want a touchline ban on top of things at such an important time.

I don't get why people can't understand by now that there's usually a reason behind the majority of Mourinho's actions and it's mainly to deflect attention from his players. Seriously, come on, you must know how he works by now surely?

P.S. However, I am excluding genuinely insane things like poking someone in the eye!

One of the things Fergie was masterful at was getting refs off of his games. He did it with Oliver and Foy, and a couple of others if I remember correctly (Atkinson I think). Jose needs to make it clear that Foy has a bias against us and the stats for red cards support that.

6 reds in 8 games when he only averages around 1 red card every 10 PL games is a ridiculous statistic. A jump from around 1in 10 to 3 in 4 is beyond a joke and he simply can't be allowed to referee our games.

That performance by him was a joke last night.

Unless Chris Foy writes something 'nonsense' in his report, don't think Mourinho would be serving any touchline bans as he didn't like say anything harmful or anything like that especially after the game.

6 red cards in 8 games does sound/look suspicious but if one were to analyze closely each incident, then at least 2 if not 3 of them are deserved reds - Alex vs Fulham in League Cup 11/12 season (last man professional foul), Drogba vs QPR at Loftus Road (two-footed challenge) and obviously the horrendous Ramires challenge yesterday. The same can't be said about the other 3 though - Bosingwa vs QPR, Hazard vs Swansea and Willian one yesterday.

The Bosingwa one was like Willian's - shoulder to shoulder contact and it went against us. He was last man though so it actually became a red.

Just think he's a bad ref who lets the game get away from him. A lot of those games were really frustrating ones for us with a really nasty edge to them, and it's a strange coincidence that he's at the centre of them.

He needs to do better with his squad rotation, some players are starting to tire before the business end of the season for example when we were 3-0 up at fulham or 2-0 against spurs why wasnt Hazard rested? The same goes for Ivanovic, surely Cole cant be that bad not to warranty at least one game against the weaker sides when we need more width. As for Salah I know his raw but he can only get better by playing especially when we have the Champ League like this week when other players need resting. I dont want him to go all Rafa with rotation but he should at least manage it better, to avoid Oscar like burnouts in this crucial period.

If our defence cannot keep a 2-0 or 3-0 lead then we dont deserve to win the title

As a team, he has to respect them all. I don't say he should start him every game, but when it's possible and he said himself to Wilmots (Belgium NT coach to rest Hazard) why the hell let him play 90 min when we were leading like that? Lack of confidence ? I don't know but i think it's discutable

Oh the joy......

As alluded to earlier, the FA will be reviewing through Chris Foy's report and if he happens to report Mourinho using abusing language that led to his sent off, he could get a two-match ban. The others involved in that incident may also get punished.
