he has stated he doesn't want to sell him.

¿..?

Florentino Perez is quietly dismantling the leadership group which regularly butted heads with Mourinho during his time in charge (El Pais)

Florentino Perez is ready to sell Sergio Ramos with the long-term aim of tempting Jose Mourinho back from Chelsea. (El Pais) #RMCF #CFC

According to reports, the reason that F. Perez is ready to let go Ramos is because he is asking for a raise 10M to renew and the club not want to give him.

On a different note, just to add this. The thing is Mourinho can't really seriously oppose Cech going to Arsenal and not be viewed as being disingenuous at best and a hypocrite at worst (not that I'm calling him one, because I'm not) since he said something to the effect of, and we all know Jose loves his own voice, "if Abramovich lets me go, he has no qualms about managing an English rival".

I see no hypocrisy in this. The reason why Mourinho is opposed to this is because Cech is a goalkeeper WC, not because he is a Chelsea legend. From his point of view, looks like a bad move the club's decision to strengthen a direct rival, this has nothing to do with loyalty or feelings.

Pellegrini: "Mourinho takes credit for everything."

Don't you see; Mourinho tells everyone to use one hand while he uses two. And he is the only one not smiling so that he can grab all the attention and headlines( like,Unlike his staff; Mourinho not satisfied with monthly award, etc.) . Not to mention he is standing in the middle. :tiphat:

Pellegrini is easily one of the biggest hypocrites in the Premier League as well as being a disgusting sore loser. Some of his disgusting comments about Mourinho are 'ignored' by the media.

Could you imagine the state of the media if Mourinho had been saying all that about Pellegrini?

Tony Cascarino: "The difference between Chelsea and their rivals is the manager" #CFC (Sky)

Tony Cascarino: "I believe if Mourinho was manager of Arsenal, he’d have won the league. Likewise with City. That’s the quality he brings"

Tony Cascarino: "John Terry said Petr Cech is worth 15 points. Maybe so. Mourinho is worth more than that to Chelsea." (Sky) #CFC #AFC #MCFC

No kidding. It's just like Fergie at Manchester United. Was worth probably at least 10-15 points a season.

Indeed, it always frustrates me when people say manager's don't make that much difference, theirs examples for good and bad across the country every single season, in fact we have had demonstrations on both ends off the scale as well.

seems jose was not kidding about just "1 or 2 players".

falcao will replace DD.

begovic/green/someone will replace cech.

infact most of all deals seem to be replacements (baba/toby for luis etc) rather than buys to improve our squad strength which was very poor last season. lets hope we dont get critical injuries.

we wont be getting pogba cos juve will be stupid to sell a player they can sell to many other teams in the world for more money (city, RM, barca) and not get a player they want for him (oscar).

jose's putting all his eggs in oscar's basket. lets hope it does not end up costing us massively.

Too early for this, its not even the end of June.

We seem spoiled by last season, getting transfers done and dusted early is very rare and we got lucky that all our targets had release clauses and were keen on coming, that won't be the same every summer.

I don't think anyone is spoiled. People love transfers. It could be March and there's talk about potential signings. I'm sure even many Real fans are pining for some new players.

We'll see what happens. Even if little changes are made, you can be sure it's because Mourinho knows he has a squad that can/will win the league.

fair enough.

but remember, we won the league last year in june itself. our transfer window was so awesome and immaculate that we had a massive massive head start over any of our rival(s).

this year, we seem to be doing what city did last year. admitedly, the situations are very different with city being a team of 30 year olds while ours being a pretty young one (atleast in the attack and mid). players like willian, oscar, cesc have scope of improvement/growth while players like yaya did not. but i would have liked us to address our issues (atleast a CM/RW) one early on. get settled and have another go.

I can't honestly see it ever being as bad as it was in 2007, they wouldn't have "married again" as Jose put It if that could have happened.

Back then Roman was a new owner and Jose was a young manager with the world at his feet, the egos of the pair at the time was through the roof.

Since then Jose had a sobering experience at Madrid and Roman had his fingers burned by some seriously clueless manager's not naming any names Scolari, I think both realise how lucky those two were to have each other hence the second coming.

Something will have to go seriously wrong most likely on the pitch for there to be a repeat off 2007,I honestly believe Jose has this job for as long as he wants it.

Trust me, I get that. Roman and Jose have a good understanding now.

What can ruin that, however, is Jose signing a dud simply because his agent needs a favour. Do you seriously think anybody else at the club thinks this is a good idea?

Jose must have had a lot of convincing to do to get the go ahead on this one and for what? A player that looked terrible all season and scored 4 goals; is coming off a big injury; looked awful at the Copa America and is on a huge salary on top of that. Then there's the fact this is going to take minutes from Remy.

This a huge and ultimately unnecessary gamble.

Personally I think he might at a push get read the riot act but I doubt a loan signing all be it a high waged one would make that big a dent in the relationship in the Grande scheme of things. It would be a bit hypocritical of Roman anyway after he got Sheva not to mention the lengths he went too for Torres.

Let's keep our fingers crossed Costa stays fit for most off the season and plays the bulk of the league games making Falcao as less of an issue as possible if he signs.
