This infatuation with height is crazy - it's well proven that smaller players with a good leap can cope with tall players.

In time I believe he has the talent to be a top LB for us. He needs regular playing time and the full support from Jose when he makes mistakes. Building up confidence in young players is key to their development.

I think some footballers need to adjust to PL some TC member's were writing him off some members seem to forget Dave took a season to adjust to the PL but i still think hes a good bit away from showing his full potential tho

I think he is 179cm, which is a bit more than 5'10 + he has a good leap. He dealt with Yarmolenko who is almost 6'3 so he should do so with 5'5 Shaqiri when considering height only.
