We just have not given him enough chances to show how good he is consistently. He had the highest rate for successful tackles IIRC last season in the Bundesliga. It can be affected by so many things which are beyond the player's control that it is almost meaningless. For example, it would be interesting to look at the interception statistics of players who have faced a Chelsea side with Ramires in the line up. I think Baba was decent in Paris and that those who felt he was excellent are guilty of seeing what they wanted to see. They would not agree of course. PSG have higher passing accuracy than Barcelona in CL. http://www.squawka.com/football-team-rankings#possession-&-passing#team-stats#champions-league|season-2015/2016#0#90#any#any#season#1#all-matches#accuracy#desc#total

Here's another, which player wins this stat category is likely to be influenced by possession stats. And another, most sides have a preference for attacking on one flank or the other. A defensive player on the chosen flank is likely to have more chances to intercept. We've all seen how often it is that when a side gets thrashed, it is their goalkeeper who is their outstanding player. The more shots come at you, the more you might stop but does that mean the other keeper is not so good?.

Whoever intercepts six balls against a stronger team with very high passing accuracy deserves praise imo. mediator

Popular Post! Pizy 18,909 Posted February 22, 2016 Popular Post! Share Posted February 22, 2016 Hopefully when JT is back fit it doesn't mean Baba goes to the bench again. Back 4 should be Baba, JT, Azpi, and Ivanovic/Cahill rotating at CB. 11Drogba, sLOVEnian Blue, kellzfresh and 2 others

Special Juan 28,141
Didn't look his best yesterday but I'd hate to think he will be dropped just like that. He was brilliant in Paris, always felt it was going to be tough for him to live up to that yesterday but with games he grows.....Top lad. LondonsFinest 692
He isn't bad in no means. He is great in attack and okay in defending. He is very young, so time will sharpen him more. Biggest thing he needs to work on is positioning and marking. He often lets the marker go, probably expecting the CB to track him.

Fernando 6,585
Made a mistake but it's okay. Shake it up and get back in the game. We are not fighting for anything so perfect time to learn from your mistake. Perfect time to play these younger players. the wes, King11Didier and EMK

BlueSunshine 672
IÂ really hope his sub was to protect him rather than punish him. If there is anything to imply the latter i will lose a lot of respect i have for Guus.
