termninja 5,290
The good thing with Falcao is that he's a lethal striker. Sure he is reliant on his pace but any striker who has pace will obviously use it to his advantage. What always impressed me with him is his finishing and the sense for movement, and you don't lose that after an injury or a bad season. I expect him to do really well here and push both Remy and Costa to their max. Contrary to most members I would be surprised if Falcao DIDN'T do well here. 1chelsea

RoyalBlues 4,050
In my opinion the difference between Falcao and Torres is that one is losing his old legs and confidence, another one is losing his old legs only. Torres has found his legs after some time in here but he never found his confidence back until now. Not because of the heavy pressure only, because while he is loaned to Milan he still struggle. I feel Falcao still have that confidence and instinct, but he is yet found his legs back. I'm not surprised he couldn't make it in his first season after the surgery. Hopefully next season he will be back to his best with us.

MrBlueGuy 1,552
Is this the least exciting 'big name' signing in our recent history? Can't remember the last time 95% of the people including myself have written off a player before he has kicked a ball for us.2 years ago everyone here would accept even 60m for Falcao now we got him for a free but no one is excited anymore. Hope at least he gets a few goals like Drogba did before moving on next summer. termninja
Pizy 18,903
I just wanna hurry up and find out how José plans to use all three of our strikers. How often will he use multiple strikers at once? Is Falcao or Remy second choice? Will Costa ever be rested even when fully fit and Facao played on his own? Some great possibilities. Really hope Falcao does well. Seems like he's been humbled by last season and should be eager to prove doubters wrong. 1chelsea
Tomo 21,751
As Long as Remy doesn't leave cause of this I'll be happyRemys an after thought compared to the real worry. If Falcao starts even one game (that isn't a CL group game or domestic cup match) when Costa is fit and available I'll hit the roof. Special 59
If Falcao proves he is still a top striker, then Costa and him can both be in the squad. Like Milito and Eto'o at Mourinho's Inter.

No way will José play Diego if we have a 3 matches in 8 days scenario. RoyalBlues

It's more likely we'll see Remy and either Costa or Falcao in the starting XI than Costa and Falcao. There's no way Mourinho is going to start turning Costa and/or Falcao into a wide striker all of a sudden, not when we have Remy who play in that position. No way will José play Diego if we have a 3 matches in 8 days scenario. He did last season with Villa, Sporting and Arsenal.I'm guessing Mou will rest Costa in domestic cups before the semis if we get there and most of the CL group anyway, itwill only be an issue late on if we are locked in the PL battle and In late stage of CL, if that's the case surely Costa will play if fit. Popular Post! Henrique 9,133 Posted July 5, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted July 5, 2015 Massive Regress i hope Mourinho can to help for that or we watch another Fernando Torres Are people still talking about Torres? Really?Let me explain to you: Torres was the most expensive player Chelsea ever bought. Even back in 2011 his 50m price was ridiculous. Torres was supposed to be our main strike, and due to his price for 3 seasons the team was quite in the market and tried everything to make Torres worth the 50m.We are getting Falcao on loan, we already have a top striker in Diego Costa who is in the best moment of his career. Torres talk in this topic is absurd. yuvala, Blue Armour, ice-boy and 2 others

He won't emulate that success if he just emulates those tactics. 6 years ago the so called tik taka was still the hottest thing in the world. Right now its a little outdated and even Barcelona is playing a different kid of football.
