The Skipper 20,609
Costa fucked it up with poor ball control. According to certain members here, Ivanovic is responsible for WWII aswell.Well Ivanovic made the wrong decision to pass to Costa in the first place. It was very poor from Ivanovic.Ivanovic has been the poorest performers in the team, of course he'll get slack for that. Most of our goals conceded this season - he's played a huge part in them. Henrique 9,133
He is starting midweek game, but its never good to be in that position. CF who are usually asked to play in that kind of game usually play for a weaker team that lacks chemistry, so the chances of scoring are not as big as it seems. But afer the match the news are preditcable "Falcao woeful form continues, as the striker was unable to score against Walsall." bluesman2610, BlueLion. and Kieran.

LondonsFinest 692
People would have went mental, but he didn't burry his chances. Allas, he has 10x the link - up play Costa has, and so does Remy. Finds spaces, calm on the ball, has good passing ability. I confirmed this ever since pre-season, and imo he isn't that bad as people make it out. People rated Torres for making a few runs and taking a few balls from the opposition. Let's nto be too harsh on the lad. didierforever and Blue Armour

killer1257 3,282
Just saw he terrible free kick. How was his overall performance? He made a lot of very good runs, but his shots were just awful.Ok,he also had a little bit of bad luck, but still he could have finished much better. After some weird misses,he lost his self confidence and looked very bad.Remy for me is the striker to replace Costa in the next match. Popular Post! LondonsFinest 692 Posted September 23, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted September 23, 2015 Just saw he terrible free kick. How was his overall performance?Personal view was that he was much more involve in build up, tracking back, laying off simple passes to start attacks. He was managing to get to the ball faster and that allowed for a couple of misses. 3 to be precise. 1 was a shocking miss, 1 was unluckily cleared and the other he just didn't have the space to dribble past the GK, so he shot at him and it was cleared off the line by a defender. Overall a good performance, but his finishing let him down this time. Got tired after the 70th minute. IMO, Remy will start, but Falcao is a great option to have. didierforever, Barbara, Reddish-Blue and 2 others
didierforever 7,349
i think falcao was pretty good. his movement is simply brilliant. his link up play was awesome.his finishing let him down. that baba cut back should have been a goal. but i think he would be a much better option than remy. petre.ispirescu 4,928
The Radamel Falcao of two years ago would have destroyed Lewandowski's record last night. The problem is that his confidence looks shot right now and it is a pitty that he can't find the net because he seems to be over his injury - he makes the right runs, his movement is as good as you can get from a CF and he links up very well with his mates. Biggest problem is in his head and in order to regain some of his old form I think he needs a long run with the first team, something I'm not so sure Jose's willing to give him in the next months. The Radamel Falcao of Atletico is probably done and dusted, but still, the one we have right now is a fine option to have on our bench. didierforever
supporter 3,088
Radamel Falcao vs Walsall (Away) 23/09/2015 Capital One Cup HD For me he was pretty good last night. Maybe Falcao would have needed to make a goal to increase his self-confidence.Last year Falcao looked like an oxidized player with Manchester United. But for me he is recovering his movements on the field with us.What he needs now is to make one, two or three goals in the upcoming matches to regain the self-confidence in front of goal to start being the player he was before.I think Falcao is going in the right direction. Step by step. stroey

lionsden 4,689
It gets harder and harder justifying his position in the pecking order above remy with each passing day.I said it at the time that it was a ridiculous decision to bring him here on loan in the first place and that going with Bamford or another young, promising striker, would serve us better and I still totally stand by that.Admittedtly I thought he would only be our third choice striker but Mourinho making him an automatic 2nd choice striker caught me off guard a little and makes it feel even worse. Step by step.honestly, I disagree. He looks the same as last year when we look at the root of the problem: a player without any confidence. His movement is very good, his link-up too, but his touch, passing, and especially his finishing show how much he lost confidence. The solution is easy: getting the confidence back and he'll be a great player that could make the difference for us - especially given the amount of time Costa is probably going to spend in the sidelines. The thing about confidence though is although it's only mental, it's also very difficult and tricky to find out what could trigger it.But if there's one man I believe can help a player regain confidence, is Mourinho. So praying for the best, but not overly exciting about the odds of it happening. supporter
