At the moment we are being absolutely mugged off by the press. With every player and manager possible now snubbing us! I really hope the club know what they are doing and get this situation sorted out as fast as possible. Because the time till pre season is getting shorter all the time.

This situation is absolutely fucking pathetic. It seems that they never even bothered to sound Hughes out. Fucking shambles once again which begs the question - Just what are Kenyon and Buck doing to justify their jobs?

Why dont we just "Head Hunt" the new Southampton duo and be done? :wank2:

Roman and his little bunch of yes men are making a mockery of us.

Too right. If the club are waiting for Hiddink -which I doubt -they should just say so. Shambles.

Lol, good old Ken. Can't help sticking his beard in can he!!!!

Is this the same Ken 'Altzeimers' Bates that sacked Gullitt and then Vialli ?

This really is quite ridiculous.

When we wanted Grant out, we made the assumption that the board would then be able to appoint someone better. Well, we were wrong. And now we're in a real state. We best pull someone good out of the hat soon, otherwise we'll be bloody looking back and wishing we hadn't sacked Grant!

Well Scolari is looking very probable now! I am sure that would excite a lot of people. Rijkaard still a real possibility, would also be a very good appointment. Spalletti not completely ruled out either, Hiddink is less likely but still possible.

So there are still some exciting potential managers out there. My big worry is what the delay is doing to the summer transfers, both the ins and the outs

I'd be happy with Scolari for sure. I'd be happy with any of the names you've mentioned.

Yup, there is hope yet! No need to start panicking just yet.

It could be interesting that transfer roumers surrounding us have kicked off again after a understandable complete lack of any activity of any sort due to the fact we have no manager!!!

I read the other day that Hughes was lined up for an interview and Roman pulled the plug and demanded full attention be given to Ancelotti <_<

Nice to see that worked out.

I doubt that is true and i doubt we approached either Hughes or Ancelotti...

The papers are writing their own stories at the moment, and are able to do so because of our complete silence.

If we are no clearer to finding out who the new man is then who, or what, was the reason for binning Ten Cate? Was that just done on a whim, or maybe Kenyon guessed that he might not suit the new manager?! In short, Just what the fuck is going on?

Roy Keane anyone?! at least he would cause a stir. Dennis Wise? Steve Clarke? Bobby Campbell? John Hollins?

Well...The Club has already mentioned that they did not approach any club to talk to their manager. Which means, we are not looking at Ancelloti, Spalleti or the fiorentina coach. These are just rumours the press like to sstir up.

Now, the statemet given by Chelsea also means that we are looking at someone who is not associated with any club and probably have in mind of employing Scolari as our next manager. Hence the wait, and I can see all of us getting frustrated till Portugal gets knocked off the tournament.

Till, then we will see names being liked to our club for the manager's position.

Another one has snubbed us....Fiorentina manager Prandelli

Steve Clarke anyone? :whistling:

Clarke and Zolo as a duo would be brilliant.

If there is no confirmation from the club by tomorrow it is likely we will approach either Hiddink or Scolari after the Euros. If they turn us down, we really have no alternative but to turn to Clarkey.
