My money is on a Hiddink/Clarke management duo. Its amazing though that one of the reasons that Jose was fired was that the club wanted good PR and not have the rest of football laughing at us, err Roman do you not think you and Uncle chief exec Fester are just as guilty??? Football and the press are laughing thier tits off at us now.

and FB if you mention the ginger fuckwit and Chelsea in the same post again, I will personally escort you off the board. :mouthclosed:

Well the big news today is that we are going to interview Rijkaard and Mancini next week. Also being reported is that Ancelotti is not off the radar just yet and he may make a last minute change of mind. I would be suprised now if anything was announced until after the Euros, if we are interviewing we would surely want the chance to interview Scolari too...

I hope not cause all the good players would most likely have been snatched up by other clubs before the Euros are over...

Well we are risking losing some players outside of the Euros. Dos Santos and Robinho are a couple that spring to mind... but it could they may wait? Who knows. It would certainly be better to get it sorted now, but we must make sure we make the right appointment.

The Euros are a shop window as well -bound to be some exceptional new players coming into view...

True, but sometimes you get the odd lemon who has a fantastic tournament, but in reality is absolute pish.

I can remember Manu signing Karel Poborsky a while back after a freak goal sent his popularity soaring, and also Rangers signed Oleg Salenko after scoring 5 for a game at a world cup for Russia. The last thin I want is for us to sign a dud who has a few good games and in reality is just a flash in the pan.

CM

we helped get rid of grunt.............what about working on the board now, including abramovich see if we can't get them to fuck off and get a buyer that knows something about soccerball.

said it for ages abramovich and his goons are murdering OUR club they're making us a laughing stock.

regards:JBD

I personally wouldnt mind if he fucked off now to be honest, I know it would leave us in the lurch but I had high hopes for him, But he's turning into a right 'mare. I still cant get over the decision to allow Kenyon to lead the team up to collect their medals in Moscow. I mean, For fucks sake. Man Ure send up Bobby Charlton, The Bin Dippers could send up Kenny Dalglish, The Arse could put up Liam Brady, While Chels put up........................Peter Kenyon

And lets not forget Milan Baros either!!!!

Our search for a new manager has been a very difficult and strange one. Unfortunately we can only speculate as to the reason why, but if at the end of the day we get the right man it will be worth it for sure.

Hmm...so..Ancellotti has made his stand clear so has panderelli but the silence from Spalleti is deafening. When asked about the link up, he said I dont want to talk about it. Loooks like he is close to becoming our new manager.

Also, Galliani knows who we are planning to employ as our new manager. To a question from a reporter he said, I am not going to tell you if the new manager for Chelsea is an italian.

Which means, we already have almost struck a deal, only the unveileing is due.

The sacking of Ten Cate would suggest that the club has spoken to potential manager(s) and that he was not someone they wanted to keep. So again, why the delay?

There are a lot of things that are not adding up in this chase for a manager and a lot of things that are making us look rather silly.

May be cos the manger is tied up somewhere(Read EURO 08) and he doesn't wanna attract attention or affect the team or the players..

add to that what greg has said..

Dont think it will be an Italian.

All the silence , the sanctioning of Bosingwa, I think it's safe to say the new manager of Chelsea after the Euros will be....... Scolari

and i think scolari is worth putting 100 quid on :P

Well now the Euros are on the roumers have gone a bit quiet, but all the stories now are talking about Scolari! With some reports even suggesting that we already have an agreement in place with him. Scolari is clearly a very good manager, but his lack of managment at club level in Europe is the only negative point surrounding him..
