lucio 5,418
he's been shitty at his near post too. but at least his positioning is ok, just slow as an iceberg getting down Essien19
Popular Post! Barbara 15,149 Posted April 30, 2016 Popular Post! Share Posted April 30, 2016 I remember people blaming this deal as the reason why Arsenal would be champs (some people just never learn), but what's really amusing is all those reports about how he's worthy at least 11 points. One of the big papers, guess The Guardian, even had an article in January breaking down how many points Cech won for Arsenal in reference to those 11 points he was worth to Arsenal final standings. Well, as it stands now, if they win their next two matches they'll get to 73 which is 2 less than last year (but same position nonetheless). I really like Cech, have a great respect for him, but seriously, he isn't one of the best anymore. Already wasn't when he was here and is even worse now. Too bad his career is now with Arsenal, he deserved so much better... Essien19, pHaRaOn, OhForAGreavsie and 3 others
Stats 7,147
Amount of sloppy goals he concedes is actually amazing. He concedes quite a lot at his near post too. Tautvix

BlueLion. 21,491
Meh, look what he's achieved - fuck all. Arsenal should have blitzed the league. Only they could finish above both Manchester clubs, Liverpool, Tottenham, and the Chels, and still not win the fucking league. TEN points behind Leicester is an embarrassment for them. Wenger needs to stay. Unionjack

RuudiGullit 112
Pete was pretty awful yesterday against LFC. Not that I really mind, hope he's gonna be a lot more in the season for those pesky gooners. I don't like Arsenal. At some times, I even dislike them more than Tottenham. I don't like them because of their deluded fans like those idiotic clowns on Arsenal Fan TV. Then you have that Wenger. Absolutely no ambition and unable to keep his players motivated. Only good achievement he got is The Invincibles but even with that his credit has gone down long time ago. But I don't care. 6 points per season for us lol. Anyway, just hate to see one of our legends donning an Arsenal (goalie) shirt. Cech's just there because he didn't want to leave the country and the city. And well, because Le Arse is still a somewhat bigger club in the UK. As for that, I don't think he gives one ounce of fuck for Arsenal or Arsene Wenger. He's just there because Chelsea ditched him. Love the guy but hope he has one god awful season like Thibaut last year. That also counts for the rest of that god awful club. xPetrCechx
