Loïc Rémy

Got faith Remy can carry us to the title if Costa is out extended periods. There seems to be a bit of a panic about our striker situation because of his indifferent performance in the CS, but he's got the talent. He's already shown us last year.

Remy is a good striker, but not that good imo...

He's a good striker but lets not kid ourselves - he isn't anything like Costa.

Remy is good, he has proven himself last year by scoring many crucial goals for us in limited game time. I believe he will score many goals again this season.

But It's the fighting spirit and leadership upfront that makes Diego very important for us. Anyone remember Diego being mad at Willian for misplacing a pass in one of his first games? That's Diego, don't think he would allow Hazard being invisible the whole game without going to him and say "What is this? Have U had breakfast yet?"

Unfortunately for him, it seems he's going to be the 3rd choice striker this season. Predictably. If he knows what's best for his career, he should leave in the next transfer window. I see an incredibly frustrating season for Loic.

You can't beat the big name it seems.

There was ZERO reason Falcão should have got in that match ahead of Remy tonight. None.

If it was Falcao for Costa, I would've understood that. He wants to play a lone striker with more of a presence, fine. But he replaced him for Willian? Remy is the most ideal striker to replace a winger in terms of who's more adaptable. Remy is capable of playing in wide-ish role then coming into the box as a second striker with Falcao/Costa. I don't believe in this idea of Falcao AND Costa in the team. It should be Remy and then Falcao/Costa.

Anyone perhaps noticed that Jose's plan was to throw bodies forward and go for crosses? Remy is a good player, but Falcao is more dangerous when you send crosses in, and I think that's not even debatable.

Yes Remy would offer more on the wing, but Jose wanted another dangerous pressence in the box, and for that Falcao was a better pick then Remy in my book.

To add to my post, I must remind members that he was one of our worse players in pre season considering how rusty he looked, while Falcao is still up and running because of Copa America and shorter pre season.

Sometimes it seems to me there is like a trend to just throw support at Remy all the time no matter what is happening, and it's been going on for quite a while. And please, I'm not saying support he's been getting is not worth it because it is, but I noticed some members supporting him like he's the saviour of galaxy even though they don't seem to know why they support everything about him so much.

People need to realise that Falcao is José's latest project and he is determined to make him into a top striker again. That will be to Remy's disadvantage. Just accept it now. He's third choice, again.

I dont understand Mou quite often and Ive never taken any notice before but does he do things like this often?

Ive always liked his no sentiment, all for the sake of the team approach but selecting his favorites even when theyre playing shite and having his pet projects just isn't the Mou I have come to know.

I realize that Falcao is a catch 22 with he cant get any better without playing time and he shouldnt get playing time without getting better. But last season Remy MOSTLY did everything that was asked of him and Mou still IMHO played Drogs instead of him. It seems hes in the same boat again.

I understand Mou is trying to get his moneys worth but it strikes me hes also trying to prove a point showing HE is right and have his ego stroked.

Its worrying a bit.
