I see the similarities too, but there's also no denying Remy is the superior footballer here.

Ba's celebratory moments of the late PSG goal and Ending Liverpool's title dreams (I mean come on, how many times have we sung the song) have well been remembered and cherished.

But there's something different with Remy's moments. They came in such clutch situations and his contributions really saved our title charge.

Stoke City at Home, Hull Away when we were playing like shit, and his goal against City at home, when we were very lucky to escape with the draw.

Not to mention his clinical nature, scoring virtually every time his number was called. Add to that, his unlucky injury record where he was sidelined simultaneously with Costa, all adds to the cries to see him get a fair run-in.

Lastly, we sign Baba and Falcao. Baba cannot play because our defensive system is so hard to comprehend, he needs weeks upon weeks, training session after training session to really grasp what we're doing in defense. (which is apparently conceding goals.)

But lo and behold, Falcao can seamlessly come from a horrible season with Man United, and make a substitute appearance in every. single. fucking. game.

And Remy is tossed to the side like a 3rd rate hooker?

#RemyCrimes.

It really is criminal. The boy has done nothing but what was asked from him when we needed it most and he can't even steal a minute on the pitch. Is he the answer long term? Likely not. But he finds the back of the net and that's more than what we're getting right now.

They have different styles of play, but they are at a similar level, heck even their journeys in England are remarkably similar.

Both sign in January for a club that go down but they do quite well despite that, then sign for Newcastle and do really well then they go to Chelsea, have a decent scoring ratio and do relatively well, but both have tactical flaws that will always prevent them being #1 at a top club.

No bigger tactical flaws than Ivanovic - but he plays :)

Forget the fact that remy at this point in time is superior to falcao, that he has proven himself to be reliable and has earned the right to be our second choice striker. what baffles me the most is How Jose seem to ignore the simple fact that remy offers a different attacking dimension as Costa and falcao are too similar. He can actually beat a defender and create chances for himself, technically good and has more pace. these are all the qualities the other two "favored strikers" lack.

Heck forget all of that. How about just playing Remy simply because Costa and falcao have been crap and the team needs all the goals it can get

Maybe, but if the justification for players to start is well Ivanovic plays then we might aswell get Paulo to put his boots back on.

Forgive me - I was being flippant!

Remy'so goals per game ratio should make him either

1) a nailed on starter

2) at worst an impact sub on around the 50-60 min mark

That's all there is to it.

Why Jose is refusing to use him is baffling
