It's not simply a second team, it's a team without any of the key players...No JT in defense, no Cesc or Matic in the pivot, no Hazard, Oscar (until some minutes ago) in the AM and mainly, no Diego Costa in the front.So our spine isn't in the pitch and people are moaning we should be beating an unknown Hungary side just because they're that, an unknown Hungarian side? We should look clueless - and we sort of do (have been watching since 20'), I don't know what the concerns could possibly be... This team has some of our worst players, no chemistry and looks disjointed because many of them never played with each other before... give it a break. Even with our best team we haven't looked convincing. I hope I have no reason to worry but the evidence is there, we not going into the season with any momentum. People called it as soon as it was announced so I'm not sure why people are surprised.The one bright spot has been Schurrle. He's the only one making intelligent runs up top and his set-piece delivery as been world-class.
