In terms of finishing Costa is just as bad as Benzema...the only difference being Costa is having a very good season because the team is built around him.

Benzema is a natural goal scorer...there aren't many BETTER options out there except Cavani.

The point is RM have just one striker. Considering they sold higuain for what 35mil£ , so benzema would atleast be that amount if not close to 40+. Simply don't think he is worth that. I would rather we take a chance with falcao or mandzukic than this guy.

Falcao who is rumored to be 29 years old and just damaged his knee, for all you know he could be the Colombian Torres from now on.

Sorry let me give you a list of strikers to choose from:

Ibra, Lewandowski, Falcao, Cavani, Rooney, Van Persie, Suarez, Higuain, Benzema, Messi, Aguero. Take your pick

Not sure what you are trying to prove?

I said there are better CF's available than Costa!

benzema is having a great season??? Dude He was DROPPED for the first el-classico for BALE up top as a striker, who by the way had just come back from injury plus with no pre-season. That was the extent at how poor benzema was in the first couple of months.

He did comeback strong but still doea not change the fact about him. I mean I was watching sevilla vs real, and he had 5 good chances in the first 10minutes. Its been his trend all season.

So scoring 23 goals and providing 11 assists doesn't constitute in a player having a great season...

He is officially 28. Why would rumors say he is just one year older than that. Plus he just turned 28.

Torres was in a rut long before we bought him. In the season that we bought him, he had scored 9 goal in 26 appearances. Falcao has scoeed 11 in 19. Falcao except for the injury would have been looked upon as much as ant other striker and to compare him to torres is just lol

I would love to see how many chances he had plus his conversion rate cos believe me ANY strikwr (even our own nando) would score 20 ATLEAST if he had CR and bale on the wings, maria and modric in the mid plus a league like la liga. Heck, nando did score 22 last season too and assisted a good amount too.

The point still remains the same, benzema is wasteful, he would be MEGA costly and simply not someone who I would want leading chelsea's lines.

Yh in French league, you never know. Sheva was never the same after his injury, who to say Falcao wouldn't be?

What??????

LOL!!!!

he had an awesome last season in la liga after which he was one of the most sought out strikers and fetched 50odd mil to go to monaco where he continued his goos form but all this should be neglected cos well I don't know how all of it can be neglected.

It's his both knees now, from what I know. He's had the same injury in his River days, back in 2006, or 2007. Right knee, torn ACL, surgery, 8 months away from the pitch.

One of my favourite strikers, I would have taken him in a hartbeat two seasons ago. Now he's just a big gamble.

I won't be cheap at all to get Ibrah from PSG, they won't sell so he is out of the picture.

Lewandowski has other moves happening so this one is also impossible.

I have a really bad feeling about Falcao and his knee.

Rooney is on 300k a week, hell no.

Suarez won't be sold to an English club at least not in the upcoming window.

RVP is toxic keep him away from this club.

Messi is not for sale and never will be.

I really don't see why City would sell Aguero if they had any sense.

I think Costa and Balotelli absolutely deserve to be on this list and we may not have much to choose from if we have to sign a striker. That leaves Balo, Costa, Higuain, Benzema and with the slim outside chance of Cavani being available in the summer, there is also a decent chance none of these strikers will be available in the summer.
