Of course anything can happen, but I just see Lukaku as the perfect man to move his game forward under Conte, be the loan striker that we need(if that's the plan) and produce great things here. The amounts spoke about for Lukaku are huge, 40-60M upwards depending on where you read but the market is mental we all know that, but the other way the money is huge in China, we get that amount for Costa then we have to pay the asking price for Lukaku if we truly want him. Or Conte goes for Fernando Llorente because he happens to know him from Juventus... 4 years ago.

Not bad company. Hindsight makes the outrage of being interested in him laughable. He's been a top player from day 1; Sevilla is actually the only place he couldn't show that, just like Cuadrado only failed here, and succeeded everywhere else. From Athletic Bilbao to Juve to Swansea, his goals-per-game ratio has actually become even better each time. Getting more clinical with age. There is no player who'd be better for us coming off the bench, if he'd be happy with that. Tomo
kellzfresh 7,229
Its sad, but I'm beginning to think he's going. He already attempted to leave in the summer but we didn't let him now China has the money, something fishy happened in january with the China rumors, it seems inevitable. I hope we get mbappe to replace him. But I'll not be against getting lukaku back. He already loves the club, maybe his passion will improve his performance.

Fernando 6,585
If we can replace him with Sanchez that would be good. Since he wants to leave China we can get some good money and use that to get Sanchez. the wes and Muzchap
jernej93 569
His head is not with Chelsea anymore. Until those "China rumours" he was as sharpest as I have ever seen him  But since than he is arguing too much and not focusing on football ... sell him to China and bring Belotti/Lukaku  Chelsea?, Tautvix and the wes

Yep, kind of slow from the bench to the pitch, it takes a bewildering amount of effort thats why Ibra starts directly games, but I think its unfair to compare with Ibra, a one of a kind. Popular Post! BlueLyon 9,359 Posted March 22, 2017 Popular Post! Share Posted March 22, 2017 He may be narrow headed, but at least he speaks openly. Perhaps its stupid, but I prefer players to say whats realy true, instead of saying I will be here next year, no im not going, I love the club blah blah and they leave a month later. Maybe he will go, maybe not. The press loves all this so you can click and talk and talk, making a whole book, but the real source might be completely made up. One thing is sure. It will be damn hard to replace Costa when he is realy in form. Damn hard. Talking about Lukaku, Morata, Lacazette, Belotti,...no one is even half as good as Costa was this season (at least the first half). But I guess the neighbours grass is always greener. I sure hope Lukaku or whoever replaces Costa will be as good as you talk, or some of you will look like big ungrateful fools come next year. The Skipper 20,609
Benzema might be off imo. I would take him as a Diego replacement because it would help out someone like Hazard loads.
