lionsden 4,689
https://twitter.com/BBCSport/status/560483187911327744Boom he is out of City, Drogba or Remy to play?no surprise really, had it coming. Just hope it isn't a 5 games ban or something. This process usually takes longer to take effect doesn't it. They still have to decide his punishment and He still has to respond/appeal the decision. This is just a charge, so should still be available for the city game.
Pacquiao 1,834
Not really...it was deserve. He had it comings all these months, constantly trying these stuff. Hope he learns from it and next time don't do the obvious things like this.no he didnt deserve it! no one can prove whether he meant it or not! Aguero has stamped on Luiz and Noble, and never got charged or got anywhere near the same media coverage but yeah Costa desereved it right? This is just a charge, so should still be available for the city game.Verdict will probably be delivered tomorrow, we get 24 hours to appear and decision will be made straight away so I think he is definitely out regardless. Also a charge for a player usually means a ban, even tweeting craps like Rio did got him a couple of games ban I think, this will probably be 3-5. Bir_CFC 3,455
Drogba or Remy? I'd go with Drogba against City. We'll need the hold-up play. Chelsea Legend 11
Rekin 835
Yes, it is actually well deserved (even if he isnt banned yet). I like him, he is a real winner, but it needs to be said that there is a line a footballer shouldnt be crossing. Doing ankle-stomps is dangerous business, its not like throwing snot on someone but an actual psychotic thing that he really need to get out of his system. It would be great if he could play against City as the run after that isnt terrible, but if he cant then I only hope it is Remy and not Drogba who starts the next game. rantdeville, MrBlueGuy and Cosmin
King11Didier 916
FA can F*ck OFF. Media did everything, even before the end of the match they were ready with their comments... But no one is talking about the bad refereeing and markovic violence....I think Terry said that Champions League is us agains the world. But it looks like it isn't only CL is it everywhere. It is us against the world indeen.... Muzchap
The Chels 2,502
Rooney, Wilshere, or any other English media darling would've gotten off.Cahill as well. I know that benefited us (supposedly!) but the double standards are a joke.
lionsden 4,689
Jose and costa both charged within the space of 24 hours. Not good. We have just as much responsibility to improve our disciplinary record. If you don't give the FA a reason or excuse to charge you, they can't MrBlueGuy and LDN Blue

We Hate Scouse 10,326
The FA has announced that Chelsea striker Diego Costa has been charged by for violent conduct following an on-field incident which was not seen by the match officials but caught on video. The player has until 6pm on Thursday to respond to the charge.Following a review of an incident during the game involving Costa and Liverpool's Martin Skrtel, The FA will not be taking any further action.Thought he couldn't appeal? supporter 3,088
Many drama queens in the press, many retired players who have much need to be famous again, and many fans who hate us, they are already making a pathetic campaign for us to feel ashamed by Diego. Poor them.Jose Diego's like, if you do not have him on your team, you hate him passionately. But if you would have him on your team, you love him passionately. And I'm very happy to love passionately Diego and Jose. It is love and pride what they produce me. Diego is one of the US. Football, as Rugby, is a sport of honesty and nobleness. First fight on the pitch and after the matches shake hands with rivals. That`s Football, That's Diego. iseah100, dUMB and Muzchap

LDN Blue 7,903
A growing rivalry between Costa and Skrtel will be interesting to watch going forward.
