RoyalBlues 4,050
If he's fit for tomorrow, do we start him? Hopefully not, you never know what Shrewsbury defender could do to him. Too risky, not worthed imo.
DH1988 1,348
Use the youngsters for Shrewsbury, save Costa for QPR, said he needed a rest so he'll accumulate 2 weeks worth then.
Iainrfc04 39
Midweek rest, then even just an hour against QPR so he's fully fresh for the match at Anfield

kellzfresh 7,229
The lack of movement for long periods in our attack against proper opposition without costa is shocking sometimes. We miss him. Our chances created and goals have reduced in the epl without him.

MrExcalibur100 7,124
Neil Ashton is reporting that Costa's hamstring problem will eventually need surgery and when it's done, he could be out for 6 weeks. He doesn't need to have it now though.http://www.nbcsports.com/soccer/premier-league/diego-costa-some-point-will-need-hamstring-surgery

MrBlueGuy 1,552
6 weeks, might as well do it now then. Could see a Atletico situation with him again toward April onward if we keep that and wait until next summer. We already played 2 of the biggest away games already anyway, surely against the likes of Spurs away we won't need hi?
Epikur 34
Surgery isn't the worst news. At least after the surgery has been completed he won't have any problems with it. I think we should bite the bullet over Christmas or when we have a relatively easy six weeks and get him in ASAP. Remy is a great player who can fill his shoes for the time being and six weeks will not feel like a lot of time in the long run.

But if it's true, it's better to get it done as soon as possible rather than keep delaying it. We need to wait until Remy gets fully fit, though. kellzfresh 7,229
Looool, just lol. Mourinho was right after all about him not going to Spain. A genuine concern and advice by Mourinho was written off as mind games. Bunch of f***ing c***s that Spanish staff, c***s. Bir_CFC 3,455
Do it when we have a relatively easy schedule and an international break. Or at the end of the season.
Sir Mikel OBE 4,920
Do it when we have a relatively easy schedule and an international break. Or at the end of the season. We have a relatively easy run of fixtures right now outside of Liverpool until we run into Robbie's team in a month, and we should be all but qualified by that point.I'd let him have his surgery now and let him have the rest of this calendar year off if he really needs it. Maybe back during the festive period as that is the only time I could see us really stretched thin.
