termninja 5,290
What really made me happy with Costa is not his assists, goal and strength. It's how he got up and wanted to shove it up defender's arse for that tackle. That's what a leader and a brave player does and that's a player that won't be bothered by media when say he's a flop. Instead he'll make opposition shit themselves and score a couple of goals, and then rub it and anyone's face who doubted him. I'm surprised with his speed and at just how well he dribbles and controls the ball sometimes. In Costa we have one of the most complete strikers in the world at the moment, and I'm really bloody happy about it! And those 2 passes really speak about his attitude and passion for win. I'm really growing on Costa, he's a badass ! Tomo and nachikethas
BenIsLegend 475
This is my favourite picture of him so far.He scored, didn't really celebrate or smile but then Zouma comes bounding in with his infectious happiness and Costa can't help but smile. He's beyond a badass, he's borderline mental But yeah, it's a great trait for a striker to have.
Melanicus 5,208
Haha on second look, his expression does have a hint of "do that again and I'll kill you" look! It seems like only Luis knows how to make him smile. He sure does... look at them fap tissues. TheIceMan and Jose M
Stingray 9,441
I like a player with his fire ........ Really do. Im very very glad, he might prove to be more of a pissing piece then a Falcao. We need an agression factor up front with Hazard Oscar Willian and Schurrle behind it. Barbara
Popular Post! Special Juan 28,141 Posted August 1, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted August 1, 2014 In the SKY Sports News interview with Jose he explained that all the players are really surprised by the quality of Costa. Jose went on to speak about how he himself rates him very high and brings great quality to the team. 1chelsea, The Skipper, Madmax and 3 others
Barbara 15,149
Was checking his stats now, and it's funny that half of his shots were on goal and half not, and half of the shots on goal ended up in goals (in La Liga). So he's shot accuracy % is 50% and his goal accuracy is 50% of shots on goal and 25% of shots in general. All those in 34 matches + 1 as a sub. 108 shots, 54 on goal, 27 goals in La Liga. ANDRECHO 432
I think his stats are inflated by the fact that he very rarely takes shots from outside the box.Like Lewandowski. But Costa is better header.
The Skipper 20,609
I think his stats are inflated by the fact that he very rarely takes shots from outside the box. That's the way it should be for a striker as well. I don't want my striker to frequently take random pot shots from 25+ yards. seanptmiller, Barbara, bababoom and 1 other

I don't want my striker to frequently take random pot shots from 25+ yards.Shots from outside the box (including free kicks) often go awry but can be effective particularly with rebounds and deflections. I think Guardiola's approach of no shots from outside the box is very limiting.

Dion 2,476
I think his stats are inflated by the fact that he very rarely takes shots from outside the box.At the same time his passing accuracy is the highest amongst our strikers and he's fairly strong which implies his link up play and ability to maintain the team in possession is really good when he can't shoot from close-medium range. If he isn't confident in his long shooting he shouldn't be overly trying them, I'd rather have him pass the ball while we keep looking for chances to infiltrate the box. I think Guardiola's approach of no shots from outside the box is a very limiting approach.I agree, but I'd much rather someone like Schurrle - who is renowned for taking these type of shots from distance - take these sort of shots, and I'd much rather have Costa as the one who is scoring the rebounds. It certainly is no biggie. Almost every striker scores the overwhelming majority of their goals in the box. Barbara and The Chels
