He made his choice, now he must prove it was the right choice. Actually I believe Conte is not happy in recent weeks because he was exposed. Probably he never thought Costa would say to everyone that he was told to go and he probably wanted Costa sold before the start of pre season. Yesterday he was far from happy when asked the big question: why Morata/Batshuay instead of Costa? I know that if things go wrong people will blame Marina/Emenalo for not getting Sandro and selling Matic to United, but the MASSIVE gamble came from Conte: allowing Costa to leave.  Anyway, I hope Morata can become the deal of the season and can score around 30 goals this season and Conte's decision about Costa is the right decision at the end of the day, but I'm far from optimistic.  Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As far as I know paying transfers in installments is pretty common when talking about figures as large as that. Just get it done ffs, I'm sick of this saga already. I agree we do but the way we are dealing with things this transfer window seem to suggest otherwise.
