Popular Post! The Skipper 20,609 Posted June 3, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted June 3, 2014 Koke seems to be off to Barcelona, and Pogba is pretty much unreachable (£50m+ probably) so Fabregas at £30m is simply the logical choice. Waterfall 893
I think so too. I imagine Pogba and Koke would be most people's first choices here, but they just seem too unlikely

ChelseaFanUK 1,014
Portuguese journalist:Gonçalo Lopes @_GoncaloLopesOnce again. Cesc Fabregas is not a first choice for Mourinho. If CFC buys him is more a Club choice. Mou likes him but prefers others.Pogba and Koke were his first choices. #CFCAlso a German MD was in his list. #CFCThat Lopes has got so much wrong in the past lol. The Skipper 20,609
He's no less reliable than other sources being posted here.Cadena SER, the Guardian and the Telegraph are all sources that I'd think are more reliable than some journalist from Portugal.Edit: add ABC.es to that list now, they're basically the BBC of Spain. Waterfall 893
Cadena SER, the Guardian and the Telegraph are all sources that I'd think are more reliable than some journalist from Portugal.I was thinking more like Daily Mail, Mirror, Daily Star, Mundo Deportivo, Balague, and Marca who are much more often wrong than right, but always get posted here. And the three you mentioned have also got many things wrong in the past. Even Guardian's rumour accuracy rate is much lower than 50%. Remember us signing Hulk? Just because the journo's from Portugal, it doesn't mean he doesn't have any sources. Guess what? Our manager's Portuguese RoyalBlues

Of course papers won't get everything at 100% but I'm more inclined to believe those than some journalist just because he's Portuguese. Special Juan 28,141
They're all battling for the same headline, the first one across the line and all that. It's a real lucky bag when it comes to who gets it right etc but there is better and more reliable ones out there that should be held in a little bit more regard than others. zolayes 14,489
It's Arsenal, not the like of Citeh or PSG. If they don't need him then I believe Wenger will not fork out this amount of money to get him just for the sake of not letting us sign him.True he will just keep moaning and whining about it ..We should sell him Torres ,,really give him something to complain about

He's a respected journalist across Europe who has sources in Portugal where our manager happens to be from. He may be right or wrong on this one, but I think it's stupid to rule him out just because he doesn't have a BBC attached to his nameI also didn't say that you should not believe the likes of ABC. I just posted the tweets because I thought some here may be interested. No need to get so offensive The Skipper

Popular Post! Fulham Broadway 17,314 Posted June 3, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted June 3, 2014 Focussing on him as a player, it'd be mad to complain if we bought him. That said, there are better players out there IMO and I'm not sure he's ever reached the heights people tipped him for, on a personal basis. He is also frightened of celery, but that's secondary in the scheme of things Bosnian Blue, The only place to be, Viper22 and 3 others
