CHOULO19 24,332
Back to his best? Judging by the lack of activity in the thread I'd say yes! Or at least close to. Thought he had an excellent game and was one of our top performers along with Eden and Willian. He linked up brilliantly with them and Oscar. He showed real willingness to make an impact in the final third, something he had been lacking recently. He adds a huge bonus when he's active in and around the box against teams that park the bus.Btw, does pen he won officially count as an assist or is that only on fantasy football? Cesc was good and has been playing well in recent games, but definitely not back to his best for me. I miss the performances where he would marvel us with his magical technique and vision. I'm still waiting for a game like that, it's been a while. Dion

Looked a lot more lively alright, but I don't think he's back to his best. It would be great to see him rediscover that fantastic form at the start of the season that helped us absolutely blow teams away. Maybe the fewer games are helping him, but I would really worry if he continues to go missing in the second half of seasons...
robdog 2,084
was his nose broken or did he just suffer a cut? BTW how come I don't hear crap from the media after the malicious forearm from Charlie Adams into Cesc's dome? If it was Diego Costa there would be a Scotland Yard inquiry of assault. iseah100
MrExcalibur100 7,124
Apart from some early over-hit passes, I thought Fab had a quietly good game vs QPR and has been playing better recently.

There would be a cry for the Scotland Yard to investigate
