CHOULO19 24,332
The fact that Chile won the Copa America probably doubled his fee. He had a terrible season with Juve. Still 40m is not at all a lot if they can get him back to his brilliant best, which I honestly doubt Pep would.

Vidal had a terrible first half. His second half he was back to old Vidal and Copa America he was great. 40m is a steal for someone that is the best b2b in the world still in his peak. Munich was lacking an engine like vidal in the middle and now they got it. Great thing about Vidal is that he has the ability to play everywhere like prime Essien did. His second half of the season was better than the first but it was no where near great, apart from the Copa America. In fact, he was regularly losing a starting place for Pereyra who was better than him throughout the season. Even in the climax of Juve's season, the CL final, he was probably their worst player and should have been sent off.But like I said, if he can get back to his best, even his Copa America form, then 40m is a steal. But I genuinely doubt he would with Pep's Bayern.
Pizy 18,954
It's apparently €40m as well, not £. Even more of a steal.

Hybrid Angel 2,130
We're missing out on a massive, massive player. Out of the many players we didn't sign, this hurts the most. The fact apearantly we weren't even interested in him makes it worse. Now we have to just stick with Ramires as our B2B player. Fucking great. Magic Lamps 11,692
Most German sources report the deal as done. Add one make the fee close to 40m euro. 6m wages. Absolute steal. What a player for Bayern. I just don't see him being a fit for pep. The square and the wannabe thug. But he will adapt I guess. Off and on the pitch. My only hope is that he is already running out of steam. Lacking tactical nous, he hugely relies on his physical attributes which are slowly but surely fading. Let's wish him that the copa and his lifestyle make his powers wane a little faster than expected.

Would have been perfect complement to magic and fabregas. Would be like the lamps maka ESS combo again. I wonder why players like him are so rare and almost never found in Europe anymore though neither his athletic nor technical attributes are world class individually, the combination is. Probably because of the tactics, double pivot, tiki taka, all this shit has condemned the b2b midfielder to the past. It might have delivered WC titles to Germany and Spain but this sole focus on skill in European football academies also wastes a lot of potential. Who doesn't like a midfielder who runs, fights, dribbles and shoots all day long?

BlueLyon 9,359
Right there is a player of world class ability for his position, good price, available, tailor made for Mourinho. Why the hell arent we interested in him? Dont say we dont need him because he would massively improve our midfield and add shitload of energy to it.If Ramires was more allround player with better technique, he would be nailed on starter for us probably ahead of Cesc or Matic. Vidal is that improved version of Ramires. We could also throw Rambo for Vidal or just sell Ramires elsewhere that would generate around 20m. Add 20m and you get top player in Vidal.Shame realy. I understand Mou is put off by big prices for Pogba, Sterling, etc, but getting Vidal should be no brainer for us.There is plenty of room to improve, just because we are champions, doesnt mean we should just rest. Real, Bayern, Barca are improving their teams and they are already better than us.

Vidal would still have the last word, it's not like he'd automatically join the club as soon as Chelsea show some interest.Like it or not, Bayern are bigger than Chelsea atm and Vidal has played in Bundesliga before. I have no doubt he'd choose Bayern over Chelsea/United/PSG/City. Transfers don't work like that. Oh, we don't want Ramires/Mikel, just throw him in that deal and get it done. You guys have to relax and let Jose do his job. He knows what's better for his team and what is not. Improving a team doesn't mean you have to hunt for all the world class players in the world. Some are unavailable, some don't want to join the club, some are overpriced etc.
Adnane 1,101
It's funny, people slaming jose and the club here, we don't know, and probably never will, if we ever had interest in him or not, although the most likely scenario is that we actually went for him underground ( as we always do for our transfers ) but tgat he choose Bayern. We tried. But if we didnt even try, that is not good, because in that case Mou thinks we are good enough, but Vidal would be clear improvement for fair price. We need stability, not 3-4 changes every year. A strong team needs a few years together before reaching its true potential. I'd only add a new right winger (and maybe a new defender) to the current set of players, other than that we are well settled. Depth (a truly strong bench) is what Jose should focus on this summer.
