NiclasCFC 2,582
Sturridge has been desperate to play in that position for the entire season, on what merit has Kalou earned the right to bypass him..Sturridge likely to miss the game

If he was to play up top i would rather him have a partner someone like a Lukaku who can occupy another defender leaving Sturridge in a one on one situation. Laylabelle 9,534
Should've played..he may not be the best player but he does try and sometimes gets lucky..and couldnt been worse then any of the ones out there today
manpe 10,861
play him on the left and Mata in the middle. I don't know who is the worst player in our squad anymore.. I don't believe it's Kalou anymore. I may just be blinded by the fact that he hasn't been playing, but when he's played, he hasn't been as bad as some. CHOULO19 24,332
Couldn't possibly done worse than Malouda yesterday, from the moment he came on, it felt like we were down to ten men.
ja1 1,166
Got his first booking of the season today. Impressive he's gone so long without even getting a yellow. Mind you Thiago Silva has gone 50+ games with no bookings!
capriccioso 2,545
The one thing you can never fault Salomon for is effort. Even when the whole team (or nearly the whole team) couldn't give a fuck, Kalou comes on and at the very least plays with motivation. With the situation as it is, he deserves a start. Tomo 21,751
He was shocking todayBUTatleast he tries in the process, atleast their is the hope he might just make something happen, like his run where he should have shot. Can we say the same with Malouda? Time for Malouda to be frozen out and Sala to be on the bench.
