Egyptian Lennon for me ATM. Loads of speed but technique is patchy.

This comment shows how naive you are. Salah has scored more goals than Lennon in his career ALREADY!

I think it was Holland who said this about Salah and, imo, he's spot on. He said that he will be important for us because he offers a different dimension that can be the solution against the teams that defend with 9 men behind the ball because we have AMs who like to link-up and keep the ball around the box but Salah is the only one who runs at people and commits defenders.

'I think he has the potential to be a very exciting player,’ Mourinho told Chelsea’s official magazine

.'He has come from a different situation to most of the squad, because he was playing in Switzerland before he came here, and in Egypt before that, so he has to adapt to his surroundings here

.'He has incredible pace and he is comfortable receiving the ball in space, like a traditional winger, so he offers us another way to beat the defence.

He wasn't bad or anything. He did miss a open net chance, but both Ba and especially Eto missed them too. Eto was absolutely ridiculous and sad esp for those like me who watched Liverpool and City's match few minutes before.

I am still fucking shocked at how eto missed that chance. In front of the open goal and he shot off target, after watching liverpool and mancity clinically scoring it was annoying seeing that.

I thought Schurrle was the most intelligent runner we had, but wow, Salah really does know how to get in behind. Not just a pair of legs by any stretch of the imagination. I don't really understand the complainers; maybe they have to look a little closer next time. I thought he had a good game other than his finishing. Can't wait to see him develop further.

This^

So he could score the winner and makes RAWK goes into meltdown?

Knew it. While that will be nice for our own (guilty) pleasure, let's not forget how shit Torres has been and how he has never turned up in matches against Liverpool!

Do we really want a dysfunctional striker starting for us then in what arguably is our biggest game of the season?!

Well for anyone who cares, my initial thought was that this will be a lightning fast game. We need deadly pace combined with good dribbling + finishing skills.

Well, forgive me for that brainfart moment. Thought I had clicked into the Torres thread earlier.

In regards to the point, not inclined to disagree.
