some players in the team never stay on the same performance like ramires and oscar even schurrle and u can figure that from last season they may start perfect but then later their performance goes down game after game , thats why i think salah will get his chance, because most of chelsea wingers not fit most of season except willian

The thing is if Schurrle plays bad there is Willian, if Willian there is Oscar, if Oscar there is Ramires...etc. Bar a miracle and big set back for us(Willian AND Schurrle out injured or something) he won't get his chance.

Also lets say he plays, but who to say he will do well enough in those games to be in the team for the upcoming matches? and at this age without a long run in the team=confidence shot down, ability reduced and value decreases.

i think its obvious that jose plans on using Ramires on the wings or move to 4-3-3 when needed.

Also, both costa and ramires can play on the wings. I can see Salah being sold in jan or next summer.

just teaching u something for future posts...yougster players ages 20-24 never be on sale, they only go on loan or play with the team because everyone knows they reach their top performance at about 25 which make them better on sale at this age..."unless" of course because the player himself want to leave like lukaku

Where it was particularly meaningless to us as Jose knew the title was gone by then and was aiming for CL. Also 6 matches since Feb is pretty bad for a young winger, he should really be playing in week in week out, if he stays maybe he will play 10 games but majority of them will be from the bench or COC games.

Kdb. Lukaku. Pvh. Borini. Matic. Scott Sinclair. Stoch

Costa may be able to play out wide but it'll be one of the last things to ever happen at the club here. It will take an injury crisis to all of our wide players and heck even the FBs before that even comes into play.

when ramires plays as a winger !! who will play in the middle if Matic tired or Injured or suspended ?? the same thing with fabregas

and when oscar plays as a winger who will play as playmaker ??

look what jose said when he talked about moses " ‘Victor’s best position is on the wings where we have many solutions. We have Hazard, Willian, Salah and Schurrle but he (Moses) is English and at this moment we have one foreign player who has to leave "

ramires maybe play as a winger only in the difficult games like atletico match last season because he good in defence .. but in the other games he will play with Hazard, Willian, Salah and Schurrle on the wings as their main position

He played a lot last season there actually and Mikel/Dave if really needed and even Oscar in really bad emergency situation. Willian can play as CAM, probably better than Oscar there.

I know I never said anything about our wingers, just that Salah isn't gonna be playing enough for his age.

Reports: Inter Milan decided against move for Chelsea’s Mohamed Salah because of his military service obligations

Inter Milan decided against making a move for Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah because he could have to return to Egypt to perform military service, reports Tutto Mercato Web.
Military service is compulsory for all Egyptian males aged between 18 and 30, and the the length of service can range from 12 to 36 months.
Salah reportedly had to return to his home nation this summer to fulfill his obligation, but he was eventually spared. Inter are concerned he may still have to return to Egypt in future, and the Serie A club decided to look elsewhere as a result.
The 22-year-old only joined Chelsea from Basel in January, and he scored two goals in ten Premier League appearances for the club last season.

Point was that costa can play wide and if Chelsea was losing and going to play 2 forwards it could be more like Drogba with Costa and 2 other ams behind him...... Leaving Salah and his appearances to Capital Cup games.

Salah for sure will play some games from the begining in Champions, the cups, and some games in the League. It will also depend on how we are in the competitions... but if we win the first or first and second games in the CHampions (specially the first one away) we will rotate the players.

Salah like all the others will start at least 10-15 games in the season (more the games he will play from the bench) and if he plays well he will play more.

That's really good for a young kid in a great team. And what we need for the cups, for Champions, and for some games in the League to rotate players.

Costa has no substitute in the ST position he can't start in the wing, and Ramires maybe will play there against Man City or during a game when it's needed. But they won't start as a winger.

Yes, all so conveniently put out just to push Salah out of the picture...

I just can't see Drogba starting with either Costa or Remy ,,, Im sure Drog will only be used as a sub

Any quotes?

'We had many mistakes in passing the ball and we failed to put the required pressure on our opponents but the defenders are not the only ones to be blamed,' Gharib said, reports ahramonline.

'The poor fitness of the players, especially Chelseas Mohamed Salah, is also a reason for the loss. The Egyptian league hasn't started yet and also Salah didnt play regularly with Chelsea. If Salah is off-form, Egypt's performance is always affected.'
