killer1257 3,282
and Pogba is going to renewย [emoji20]Yes, but I think Fernandes is the key for their future success. Pogba is very inconsistent and injured all the time.Apart from LB and maybe CB, their team has everything. The right amount of pace, physicality and creativity combined with direct football (With direct football I mean that United not only make creative passes, they also have guys like Fernandes that shoot from the distance) Gesendet von meinem VOG-L29 mit Tapatalk
NikkiCFC 8,319
Speaking of Serbian midfielders Danilo Pantic (still Chelsea player, where is his thread?) is by our media reports going to sign tomorrow for Cukaricki and it is not even a loan like previously reported, small fee and he will leave us permanently (finally).ย Vesper

Pizy 18,903
Meh. I don't miss Matic and I'm not bothered about him there.ย Another player that United fans have done a 180 on since Bruno joined. They all called him shit and wanted him sold ASAP. One of the most active threads I saw on RedCafe recently was "who should be the Matic replacement?" Let's see what everyone thinks of him once United aren't in a purple patch beating up on shit teams. I'd rather they keep him around than buyingย someone better. King Kante 1,643
Matic is one of those players who is limited but effective if given the correct role. We got decent money for him and sold him at his peak value so I am not that upset we lost him. However, at times this season i.e. against all the smaller teams who have beat us up, we really could've done with him. Further, as his fee essentially went on Baka, the sale wasn't as great as it should've been.ย

The incident occurred when Lyon beat Angers 2-0 in the 34th and final Ligue 1 matchdayย last month. For International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia on May 17, French clubs customised their kits with a rainbow patch on their shirt sleeves. Matic, 36, came on as a substitute for Tanner Tessman in the 69th minute of the game with a piece of white material appearing to cover the campaignโs rainbow logo. Another symbol โ the word โhomophobiaโ in French crossed out with a red line and โfootballโ underneath it โ was not covered. The Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP), which governs French football, announced on Wednesday that Matic had been given a two-match ban with a further two matches suspended. Maticโs Lyon contract expires at the end of this month. It was similarly widely reported that Le Havreโs Ahmed Hassan also covered up the logo when his side faced Strasbourg. The LFP also announced Hassan had received the same punishment as Matic. Both players, the LFP said, agreed in their hearings to participate โin an awareness-raising campaign on the fight against homophobia in footballโ within six months. ย What You Should Read Next โI got really good at lying. Society has evolved, and the language in football must change with it. Thereโs a full range of sanctions available, and they must be applied.โ Last year, Monaco midfielder Mohamed Camara was banned for four matches by the LFP after appearing to place white tape over an anti-homophobia message on his shirt. Ligue 1โs campaign against homophobia has been running since 2021 and aims to increase awareness around LGBTQ+ rights in football.
