Chelsea v Man United

Sounds like suicide to me. No striker.. when we have Hernandez and Welbeck? Don't believe it - Danny will start or at least he should! To go to your home ground and play some stupid new tactic he's been working on with Phil Neville is quite honestly seriously worrying. Moyes needs to remember he isn't Jose Mourinho and tinker way less with players and tactics. He needs something solid nailed down and working. To be fair though, RvP and Rooney are a big loss, but it's not like Kagawa and Welbeck/Hernandez can't play football. He's not being forced into it - he's still choosing it. I'm still showing my support to the manager, but he honestly does bemuse me sometimes; he does himself no favours.

The way to beat Chelsea is attack them - if there is a liability/weakeness it is in defence, with the two central defenders looking very dubious at times. Either road, this is a massive game for us, and if we lose it we surely can't win the title. Win or draw though and we should reap some reward.

That defense that's conceded once in its last five matches? That defense?

That still doesn't change the fact, that in central defence you can be exploited. Mourinho has a very well organised *unit* as he mostly always does. This is what keeps the clean sheets. My point is simply that CB is somewhere you can be exploited - Terry isn't the player he once was.

Terry is having one of the best seasons in years; he has been immense this year. One of the best in the league.

Don't mistake my comments for putting him down to a level of useless. I'm just saying this is where I think you can be exploited. The problem for the most part is being able to, with good defensive midfield cover and team work.

Terry is still a good player, yes. A shade of the true player though, and coupled with dodgy defensive partners I think it's an area of weakness.

Fair point but United have also been very shaky defensively this season, I think an offensive approach would leave you more exposed than you already are, while our side won't exactly be looking to go forward.

Clearly haven't been watching us. Terry is having a terrific season and is still England's best CB. If you think he's a liability then you're very wrong.

Like Mou said in his press conference, we're not playing against just a mid-table team, we're playing against the champions. Getting the three points is extremely necessary in this fixture.

I know most of you prefer Torres in the starting line up but I personally rather have Eto'o. His positioning is nearly perfect. Although his finishing is not as good as it was few years ago but the fact that he is so good at positioning is the reason I want him to play on sunday.

Come on Chelsea!!!

I can't wait for this game & I have to wait untill 05:00am kickoff time in New Zealand on Monday Morning & hopefully Matic can get off to a good start and get at least 1 assist & 1 goal & Chelsea FC can derail the Manchester United Train off the tracks even more than it is right now & we can watch the Man Utd fans cry all the way home.

I agree with you on the coupling with defensive partners causing issues but I think this is resolved now. Also lets not forget the media are basically begging for JT to play for England again? he is once again leading this team.

well, this week is special. Not only I'll watch a Chelsea match in a pub for the first time, but I'll take part of BBC Radio live before the match. I was chosen in Chelsea Brasil for their pre-match show, and will give an interview about the match. So if you guys in England hear a Barbara in your radio, that'll be me :) live about 45-30 minutes before the match.

You're back. Our defence have conceded 1 goal in 6 matches. And in fact we have let only 7-8 shots on target in that 6 matches time. Getting to our defence will be hard enough especially without rooney and vanpersie.
