LAM09 7,062
the Villa game will cost us, but equally the draws in our away matches against ManU and Arsenal. With a little more ambition in those games we could have easily won.For me the timing of the Utd game was the issue. Mourinho played defensively, but if we played them now; he would have thought differently.

Chelsea Legend 11 4,062
Nothing is over yet boys and girls... Still a few twists and turns left I am sure of it.We just need to put our heads down and continue to win our games, now is not the time to be thinking about the opposition. If we take care of our business I have a strong feeling the football gods will take care of the rest. We are the most deserving side this year and I refuse to believe we won't be champions if we continue to win our games
LAM09 7,062
If Man City don't lose at Liverpool, then I think the title is over. Still a few games to go till then.

Whoever wins it deserves it, barring an official pulling an ovrebo in the title deciding match (I'm looking at you, foy).
cosmicway 1,333
You forgot we visit Swansea -home of the heroic Bony.I don't fancy they are easier to beat than Liverpool. Also Wenger might put his act together and hold City to a draw at least. sdrcfc 461
Manchester City go away to Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton if I'm not mistaken. They only need to drop four points for us to win the title.
The Chels 2,502
Funny how other fans and the media are talking about our 'easy' run-in, when in reality we have to face teams that will sit back and allow us the initiative - the type of game we fare worst at. I think I would be more confident if we had a more 'difficult' fixture list!
Muzchap 8,966
Manchester City go away to Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton if I'm not mistaken. They only need to drop four points for us to win the title. That is true... But that relies on us winning all remaining fixtures... I'm confident we will finish in the top 2 - just not sure which position This alone is a great achievement from where we were the past few seasons (excepting the CL win)

Henrique 9,133
As long as Liverpool don't win it then I'm content with 2nd-3rd in José's first season back.3rd? Mourinho is supposed to do better than RDM and Benítez.
The Chels 2,502
This. Back then people were saying those were great results...Hindsight eh! If we had to play United after everyone, including themselves, realised they were crap we'd probably have got the 3 points. Let's not forget that we hit the crossbar in both those games though - Schurrle v. United and Lampard v. Arsenal. Fine margins.
De_ChrapQaa 192
29.03. 18:30 Arsenal Manchester City 05.04. 13:45 Manchester City Southampton 13.04. 14:30 Liverpool Manchester City16.04. 20:45 Manchester City Sunderland21.04. 21:00 Manchester City West Brom27.04. 17:10 Crystal Palace Manchester City 03.05. 16:00 Everton Manchester City07.05. 20:45 Manchester City Aston Villa11.05. 16:00 Manchester City West HamI think they still can drop atleast 4-5 points in their upcoming 3 matches, i think liverpool can beat them and arsenal or southampton have a chance to drew, also don't forget they have to go and play on goodison park, that's never easy trip. Tomo 21,751
We won 7 out off 8 not long back (9 out off 10 if we count the 2 FA games), with the exception off Wet Sham which we completely dominated but it ended up 0-0, sometimes you thrash teams in general play yet still not win, it happens.6 off our games are against the so called lesser sides, while they will make it tough, with our defence one break will be enough in most off them, despite our struggles against bus parkers, we rarely fail to score vs them.As for Anfield, i am convident Mou will outsmart Brendan for this one, Liverpool fans will point to their "amazing" atmosphere, but if we get our tactics right, keep concentration and take control, those muppets can scream as loud as they want, we will be leaving there with 3 points.7/7 will be hard, but it is most certainly do-able. Vybz Kartel 1,613
Will look back at the West Brom and Aston Villa games if we dont win the league which is lookin more and more likely
Gilvorak 3,734
Foy cost us dearly against Villa but the West Ham and WBA bottlejobs are games we might end up looking back on come the end of the season. We should be running away with the League with our results against the Top 10 for fucks sake. We're going to have to win every game this season and pray City drop points in two of their remaining 9 games...all this while balancing the CL. It's going to take a miracle for that to happen I'm afraid.
