I could see Schurrle opposing Baines, with his work rate to muzzle him, DeBruyne on the left hand side. Could be a decent opportunity to start Van Ginkel over Lampard with CL coming up. If Oscar or DeBruyne starts in the 10 spot, I can only assume Mata is deemed Capitol One Cup status with Mourinho at this point. Might actually be a free flowing entertaining match hopefully.

On the other hand, the CL tie at home to Basel is easier than away to Everton.

Hi all new to site,i wish i had found it years ago!!! Im glad Fellani aint playing, the internationals always make preparation much harder but im hoping the rest the spanish players had will make the differnce !

Welcome, pal. Hope you stick around :)

Been awhile I wont lie. But Ive seen Torres play for Chelsea for a few years now and Ive seen enough to know that a fucking retard would lead the line better.

When Eto'o was still at Inter, Torres was still one of the best strikers in the world. Food for thought.

I think people are overrating Fellaini's presence here. He wouldn't have been much of a goal/ariel threat aside from set pieces by playing in centre midfield. I rate Barkley as a bigger danger playing in attacking midfield.

Agree. Especially under Martinez he just seemed to slow your midfield at times. His danger was when Moyes used him as a target man. I'm honestly not a fan of his when he plays in central midfield.

I have seen Eto'o for Anzhia a few times in the EL last season. He was not always interested but when he wants he still has that pace and that killer instinct that made him the best striker in the world. I have no doubts he will be an upgrade on any of our other strikers. When Drogba could be matchwinner at 35, Eto'o surely can be at 32. He won't do it week-in-week out which is why our problem of finding a 25goals a season striker ala van Persie to help us win the league is not there, but he will be enough for not being embarrased in the CL and enough to see off a mediocre Everton side.

------------Cech--------

azpi--Cahill--Terry-Cole

--------Mikel---Ramires------

Willian----Mata-------Schürrle

--------------Eto'o--------------

would be my lineup. But Jose will surely start Iva and Lamps and probably also KDB instead of Willian. This time we really can show how easy our squad can easily compensate the loss of Hazard and oscar to injury.

I rate Everton's stability. They peform every time against us but I can't imagine them to gel as well as under Moyes already whereas we are way better than under Benitez with whom we won both matches. . That is why we should go for the win and not park the bus like at Old Trafford. We will be champions and champions win in Goodison.

For me , this is our strongest team . These 11 players can destroy any team which stand against us.

Sorry for my english :):):)

even ESPN Brasil had a trip down memory lane with this match and called all our three goals masterpieces.

Foi só pintura! Em 2006, Drogba, Ballack e Lampard fizeram golaços no 3 a 2 do Chelsea sobre o Everton. Relembre! http://ow.ly/oQGVM

and some rock as the soundtrack to the goals makes the experience of rewatching them all that much better (I wish more highlights had that sort of soundtrack ). that Drogba goal is among the most spectacular goals I've ever seen. goosebumps everywhere
