Don't misunderstand me, what I meant is: "Eto'o near retirement does hattrick against united + Eto'o near retirement is now 15% at most of the World-beater he once was = just wonder how unbelievable this guy was in his prime and that's why he has been World's best striker for years".

I have said from pretty much day one, Eto'o is my choice from who we have got. When Samuel has the ball im confident we will still have it 5 seconds later, Torres or Ba and im mentally preparing for the opposition getting the ball back.

There may have been a slice off luck in the first goal but if that was Torres or Ba then there is every chance the ball would have been turned over.

When i ask myself which out off the 3 are less likely to disappear mentally and technically as it comes to crunch time there is only 1 answer for me and that's this guy.

I honestly don't see how any striker has done markedly better than the other (despite Eto'o being the only one to bag a hat-trick).

They've both done their jobs, and have been effective in their own ways. I did say at the start of the season, that all three would get their chances to start with Torres bagging the majority when fit. That's the way Jose has set up the starting eleven so far...he uses Eto'o only against really tight defenses

The family watched first-team training before Eto’o joined the boys for a 20-minute kickabout on the indoor pitch.

Nathan was struck dumb when his hero strolled through the doors with a big smile on his face, but, in fairness, the young brothers coped considerably better with the striker than the Manchester United defence had done four days earlier.

Eto’o offered a few tips and soon had Nathan slamming his penalty kicks high into the top corner before they all sat down for a chat ending with a group hug.
