Van Ginkel is the player to sign. If he agrees, it means he will play for Chelsea next season. That´s what he wants. He has no desire to sit on the bench, he said that several times.

van Ginkel would be another signing for a 4-3-3. with KDB coming returning, Schürrle signing and Ramires assured of his importance we actually might ditch that 4-2-3-1

This is to me a good, no .... excellent quality signing. 21 but would need more time then Hazard and Oscar. But what a talent. he is so gracious when playing.

I don't know if he would be loan material, but could very well be close to the first team. Close but no cigar, however. Even KDB had to have his Bundesliga year to prep - Hazard had his L1 tittles and I fear he will need the same before flourishing here.

But I really, really want him here ......

Our midfield needs power and experience now though.

Chelsea Football Club and Vitesse Arnhem have reached an agreement for the transfer of Marco van Ginkel.

The player will join Chelsea subject to a medical, agreement of personal terms and legal documentation.
