Doubt it, we only go 433 in big games now anyway like against City, Pool, Arsenal, MU...etc. 4231 most of the time with Fab as one of the CDM as the opposition is unlikely to be trying to dominate the midfield or attack us as much. Remember at the very worst Dave can play at CDM with Luis LB too

In all seriousness, Milan's squad isn't as bad as people make it out to be. No European football should help. Good start should give them some confidence too. MVG would definitely improve midfield.

Its good for him to go there, he needs to catch rhytm of playing regulary again or he will never be a starter here. Not so good for us though, as he could help us in cup games or smaller league games, so that other CMs would get some rest.
