It was just a little knock and he was only left out of the Cardiff game as a precaution and because we didn't really need him. I don't that will affect Jose's team selection.

Yeah, I think so. I said the same in the match thread. Plus, Daxler has been involved in 3 of Schalke's 4 CL goals this season, so Andre's defensive work on the right wing to could be crucial.

I know Schurrle did a great job against Schalke. However, shouldn´t he be used in more offensive role, instead ?

Am I the only one who thought he was awful against schalke? He lost the ball almost every time he touched it. I know he did okay tracking back but that's not what I look for in a winger. The same reason I don't like Ramires on the wing.
