xPetrCechx 13,598
https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/article/Chelsea-football-club-selects-ifs-as-principal-partner  Chelsea Football Club today announces a multi-year global partnership with IFS, the world's leading provider of Industrial AI. As part of this commitment, IFS will be elevated to Principal Partner with immediate effect, featuring on our front of shirt for the remainder of the 2025/26 season — marking the beginning of a long-term collaboration that places advanced AI at the heart of football performance, operational excellence and fan engagement. Pizy 19,250
That is a HIDEOUS shirt sponsor and it’s also once again just another short term bandaid deal. Of course it had to be some random AI slop company. For the life of me, of all the strange and questionable things that have happened under BlueCo, them apparently being complete.y unable to secure us a long term, super high profile/prestigious shirt sponsor is the weirdest and most puzzling thing. These guys are supposed to be business and finance geniuses and we’ve scrounged around for FOUR YEARS looking for a sponsor only to end up here? I agree that it is NOT acceptable (and the kit logo looks hideous, ffs), but IFS (formerly known as Indurstial and Financial Systems) is not some random AI firm, it is a 43 year old company, is industrial AI enterprise software-oriented (it is one of the biggest industrial AI independent firms on the planet, (ie not tied to one of the big 7 tech firms: Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Meta, Microsoft, Nvidia, and Tesla), and is, since 2015, majority owned by the 2nd biggest atm private equity company on the planet, EQT. EQT (majority owned by Investor AB, ie the Swedish ultra powerful and famous Wallenberg family) is headquarted here in Stockholm, and and trails only KKR (Kohlberg Kravis Roberts) in the US as to who is the biggest private equity firm globally in terms of funds raised the last 5 years: Top 5 Private Equity Firms by Global Capital Raised the past 5 years: KKR (KKR & Co. Inc.) EQT AB Blackstone Thoma Bravo Carlyle Group also, Hg (a huge London-based private-equity group, formerly known as Mercury, with the 10th biggest PE holdings on the planet) also holds a minority stake of IFS.  IFS (again, originally Industrial and Financial Systems) is a Swedish enterprise software company headquartered in Linköping. The company develops cloud-based business software focused on asset- and service-intensive industries, including enterprise resource planning (ERP), enterprise asset management (EAM), and field service management (FSM). History Founding and early years IFS was founded in 1983 in Sweden and launched its first software product IFS Maintenance in 1985. Five years later the complete product suite known as IFS Applications was launched. In the next several years saw IFS expanding its presence in the Scandinavian region with the establishment of offices in Norway, Finland, Denmark and then expanding outside Scandinavia into Poland. 1993, saw IFS introduced its first graphical user interface and expanded to Malaysia. In 1995, it expanded to North America. mkh and Fernando
Vesper 31,037
The new "multi‑year global partnership" will see IFS move off the front of the shirt in the summer, but the wider agreement will run until 2028. Chelsea are seeking around £65m per season from their next long‑term front‑of‑shirt partner. Fernando and mkh

Vesper 31,037
Sources: New FOS sponsor took just days to finalise, so what's going on? A bit of info on this https://siphillipstalkschelsea.substack.com/p/sources-new-fos-sponsor-took-just So, I’ve spoken to a source on Chelsea’s new FOS sponsors that was announced over the weekend. We got to see the first look of the Ai company on our shirts in the Burnley game, but this at the moment is just going to be until the end of the season. The partnership will continue, but there is going to be more uncertainty as to who will be Chelsea’s permanent FOS sponsors going forward. Having spoken to SPTC Sources over the weekend, one of the reasons we are faced with another temporary FOS sponsor is down to uncertainty around getting in the Champions League spots come the end of the season - this is what all the big sponsors and big money deals want - they want to sponsor a UCL club. There had also been a hold up due to some companies Chelsea spoke to, waiting to see what charges we are going to get after the investigation. So there’s been a few reasons really. Our sources say that negotiations with IFS.ai took just two days to complete, so it was all just pushed through in the end. My top source tells me again that talks with Red Bull/Oracle was very advanced and so close to happening earlier in the season. This source pointed out that Red Bull had even changed some clothing lines to the colours of Chelsea in preparation for the deal to be announced. So perhaps down the line, this one still happens. But it makes me believe now after speaking to sources, that it’s likely to depend on Champions League football at the end of the season.

Whats the nature of the next 2 years? £15m for front of shirt to end of the season is not bad but then £3.5m after for each of the next 2 seasons is a shite deal given how it has taken them 3 seasons to get something on the front of the shirt that they weren’t affiliated with. Been all quiet on that front too, not like theres much noise about other sponsors offering decent coin coming to the table. Even worse now when you look at betting sponsorships coming to an end for next season, be more competition. If we end up sponsored by red bull are we going to become RB Chelsea 😂😂😂😂 Edited February 28 by OneMoSalah Fulham Broadway and mkh

mkh 748
💥🔵Chelsea have secured a short-term front-of-shirt sponsor in a deal worth £15m. The club's total assets are valued at £104.5m a year, compared to Arsenal's £164m. The club is still seeking long-term sponsors (FOS+sleeve) to replace tech giants from Sweden (IFS AI) & Vietnam (FPT). The club also needs to find an alternative training kit sponsor as their £12m-a-year deal with BingX expires in June.
Vesper 31,037
EXCL: Confidence on long term Red Bull FOS sponsor Some fresh info on the situation https://siphillipstalkschelsea.substack.com/p/excl-confidence-on-long-term-red Chelsea’s front of shirt sponsorship situation is one that is ongoing, despite having a deal with IFS.ai that will at least see them through until the end of this season. Chelsea have rebuffed claims that the deal with the AI software company will pay just £15m until the end of the season as part of a front-of-shirt sponsorship. The club have put out, through journalists, that the front-of-shirt sponsorship deal is worth ‘significantly more than £15m’ for this season. Either way, it’s not really being looked at as a long term front of shirt sponsorship deal and will soon turn into a separate partnership. SPTC Sources understand that IFS are unlikely to continue as front of shirt sponsors for Chelsea beyond the season, although it has been stressed that there is a chance that the deal can be extended for a further season, if it needs to be. Our sources have also heard that there is confidence of a long term deal being struck with Red Bull for front of shirt sponsorship. It hasn’t been confirmed yet, but this is likely to depend on Champions League qualification and also, what the final settlement will be from the current charges against the club. If Red Bull do not come in at the end of this season, this is where IFS could extend, and Red Bull could be put on hold even further. On Orcale, our sources are told that the FOS deal is likely be with Red Bull rather than Orcale, but Orcale have still not been completely ruled out to us - it could still be some kind of joint venture but Red Bull alone is now much more likely. As reported, a deal with Red Bull was very close recently, but for a few reasons, it did not get done. Chelsea still now looking to complete the long term FOS deal with Red Bull, and hopefully it can come in at the end of this season. If a deal with Red Bull does not work out, then Chelsea are still also in talks with some major Airlines as a back up option. But as also mentioned, there could still be an option to extend the IFS FOS for another season. We will see what happens.
