I think Turan will fit in easier, but he can't score for shit and we already have enough of those type of players.

But i can easily see Griezmann not fitting in at all, or just disappoints. For 60m i think it would be an awful bet by the club.

Turan is not a scorer, but at least he'll provide another quality option. And he's just a better AM. Griezmann is a better 2nd striker, not sure that would work here.

I agree about Griezmann, he could flop easily since he won't be the main man, will be playing on the right (as opposed to in the middle or on the left where he normally plays) and more defensive work.

But Turan, what does he add that we don't already have in Willian and Oscar?

I think "another" Willian or Oscar is better than Cuadrado for this team, he'll add more competition. He is a top RW/CAM, creative, experienced, Mourinho surely like his work-rate.

I cant see any better options, so it will be a great buy imo.

I'd take Sterling over Griezmann all day long. That's just my opinion.

Agree with the last part of your post. Don't buy for the sake of buying. Get someone who can score goals or don't bother. Rather buy a big talent like Fekir, see how the likes of Willian, Oscar and Cuadrado do and make changes next summer if necessary and/or quality players are available.

And looking at Mourinho's words, the club is not in the mood to just buy. Don't blame them at all.

I agree on Cuadrado, think he gets next season to see how it goes, after that if things haven't gotten any better, he goes. As for Oscar, not sure how long we can keep hoping he will perform or bring up the excuse of tiredness etc.....He's looked out of place for a lot of last season, and whilst having a good tracking and chasing engine you need to have more than that if you are to be a top #10....he hasn't showed near enough for me.

Willian's performances in the #10 for the last few months were exactly the level Oscar has to be at next season.....I can't see him every being that good because Willian was immense.

I agree about not buying for the sake of it, I just think Turan is a great player, i certainly wouldnt say no to a deal involving Salah or Luis for him + the sell of Cuadrado.

Fekir would be a smart and a great buy, though he wants to stay in Lyon for another season. He said it, and the lack of rumors might show his intentions...

Mourinho has made it well known he's not giving up on Oscar. I would not have minded Oscar leaving for good money this summer, as long as a quality player came in to replace him, but I'm convinced Mou is serious about Oscar. So I'm just waiting to see how it turns out, and I hope Mourinho is right. The league and the League cup were won with the likes of Oscar and Willian so it's not like the club is in a poor position, desperately needing to improve. So I'm slowly starting to accept a bit of patience, even though I'd like to see it differently, is required.

Nah I disagree. I think Mourinho bought Cuadrado to add something different to the attack.

Before him Mourinho had Schurrle, who could come in and add instant goal threat.

There's also players like Ramires, Mikel to change the dynamic of a game.

It's typical Mourinho to have contrasting options, which is why I don't see Turan as a likely signing.
