Very lucky to get the points. The first 30 minutes was the worst we've played all season. We were an absolute mess but Cech and the woodwork saved us and Lampard won it. Expected to win against weakened Everton side but the way we managed to do it was very impressive. You have to be able to win some games you don't deserve to.

Something United have done for decades.

You know, stats are a funny thing. It looked on the screen like Everton 'dominated' most of the game and that's how most pundits are viewing it, but check this -

It's true that Everton spent more time in our half than we did in theirs and they looked more dangerous, but 'looks' or flashes of danger don't get your team anywhere - actual danger like our team can pose gets you somewhere.

Extremely lucky and undeserved but we'll take it any how. Most important 3 points of the season so far and who else to get them for us than super Frank!

Take the 3 points, give frank the new contract, never play Luiz in midfield again, and roll on QPHAHAHA

Solid, solid. Like Chelsea from the good days. Lampard + Luiz worked really great in the mid, Ramires was also really good in right. Cahill was as good as well as a CB. Why the club is even thinking about letting Lampard go is beyond me, its clear he re-invented hilself as a more defensive player, and yes, he has the discipline.

Turnbull did not fucked the game, and thats good enough. Torres is really hopeless, I'm not sure the reason why the press keep saying Rafa reinvigorated Torres. Its sad, but Torres future lies elsewhere.

What are you talking about? We had 8 shots blocked, those were never going to pose any danger.

Think we deserved a point at the very least and Jelavic could have had two but for the woodwork. Ah, we'll sometimes they go in, sometimes they don't. Thought we done really well considering that's the worst side we've put out this season too.

Onwards to Newcastle, make sure you sign Ba in time.

Absolutely incredible win after going 1-0 down and escaping post and bar moments to win the game and we deserved to win it too.

Stunning victory. We got lucky at times but we deserved the luck. So happy right now, GET IN!!

Let's not get too excited, we didn't deserve to win the game. Everton hit the post twice, the bar, cech and turnbul made a save and jelavic missed a clear chance right at the end. More like a grinded out result right there...

Luiz had a decent game today, and he's still only played a few games in that position - of which we've won the last 4 now I think.

Loved his commitment today, had a dodgy first 30 like everyone else but didn't really do much wrong after that.

If you're asking would I prefer to have Lampard or Gerrard, it's no contest.

If you're asking would I prefer to have Lampard or Xavi and Iniesta.......

If you're asking which of those choices would best fit the way Chelsea are looking to play over the next 3-5 years then you need more than just pictures showing stats.

Great result, all about character but a sloppy start and some luck today.

Far too many doom-mongers ready to give up the game after a slow start and ready to jump on the back of the manager. If we're going to have success this year then everyone needs to believe in the squad.

Everyone in that side contributed though today and a great day with the signing of a striker looking closer.

I must admit you were right.

I said it and i'll say it again. We deserved to win the game. We played the football. Yes they hit bar and post but we missed chances too and should've wrapped the game up. I'm very happy the way we played and my opinion is 100% we deserved the 3 points for the effort and the actual football that was played.
