In any event while I don't necessarily hate Torres as much as most people here seem to him going can only be a good thing as he has never been the same since that injury in 2010 its sad really, never liked the idea of such a talent falling off so badly.

So sad it hasn't worked out for Nando here. I don't think i have ever been so excited for a new signing the night he joined us. I have willed him on, begged him to succeed more than every other player before him. Unfortunately it wasn't to be. There was the odd flash of brilliance from him and some memories he leaves us with. A hattrick against QPR. That fantastic Europa League campaign. And nobody will forget that incredible night in Barcelona. So thanks for the memories Nando, i'll genuinely be sad to see you go.
