BlueLion. 21,491
If you can't "enjoy" yourself whilst playing football and earning £150,000 + every week, you have something very, very wrong with you. The only place to be and Amblève.

underdrog 18
Torres is not only wasting club's money, but also us fans time.I see we have made 7k plus replies, he does not deserve it guys..better contribute your thoughts on other useful players.. drog.ba 239
The whole team is a mess,You cant have 4 players (oscar, hazard, mata, marin) take up 3 different positions on the field, which all only being good at 1 position, the same position,So yea the service is shit, but torres is also shite, but he'd wouldnt as shite if the service wasnt shit,The teams retarded, we have great players who cant play together and no system can really make them work, weve bought players once again and tried to make them into a team instead of reinforcing what we have with more.Last season you could maybe blame the service, although we still had Mata for creativity. We brought in 3 creative players and the problem is still Torres. They aren't all only good at 1 position, Mata and Hazard are primarily wide players who can play more centrally, Marin is a winger-his time spent failing to replace Ozil as a central attacking midfielder was part of then reason they sold him; Oscar is the only true central attacking midfielder and he's pretty good played wide or in a deeper role.Under Di Matteo I thought the system worked well, just the defence was an issue-under Benitez with the same attacking line-up it's kind of gone the other way and become too defensive.http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/9713162/I-can-fix-Chelsea-striker-Fernando-Torres-in-two-weeks-says-former-sprinter-Darren-Campbell.htmlThis seems worth a try; surely he should be lifting weights already? TacticalBlues 2,817
Torres would be stupid not to inquire about Campbell proposal. He's built himself since he's come to Chelsea and that would impact your speed. I remember seeing Ronaldo looking to bolster his running technique running with professional sprinters, Bolt giving him advice etc. Hard Work always pays off and that's a big reason why Ronaldo is where he is today. DH1988 1,348
Campell has already worked with Torres for a short time. Think its a way to bolster his rep to be honest but lets see, if he truely believes he can then let him try by all means.
DH1988 1,348
Coincidentally enough I'd like to know the dates he worked with and what period, he says 2-3 sessions before AVB got sacked but I'm wondering.. There were a handful of games last season where Nando looked beefier, nippy and confident, e.g. Swansea goal (+ sending off...)
