Just release the guy, I don't care if he cost £50m he's not worth a shade of that. It's a disgrace that he's even wearing the Chelsea shirt and he looks like at best a Championship player.I can see literally no positives in his play and has probably got worse since last season... His link up play is terrible and can't pass a ball, his pace is never used because he's always confused on the best option, he hardly gets chances because he floats around the box and out wide rather than in a box like a striker should and when he does he messes them all up. And then he likes to complain, strop and laugh things off. No heart or desire.He's past it. Pretty much any other striker in the PL I'd happily swap for Torres.Get him out. didierforever 7,349 Posted November 3, 2012 Share Posted November 3, 2012 lets go another way today...what a brilliant performance by this guy. amazing workrate, i mean its not easy to stand still in one place for 90+ minutes guys. his finishing was tremendous. he simply never misses the goal and his shots were better than carlos or beckham. this guy is the way to go. i think we should give him a 10 year contract. infact play him even wen he is in his 90s, how different can it be from what he is been doing at this moment. hats off to torres. i gave this guy a standing ovation after the match. totally deserved it. dint put a foot wrong. hope to see such performaces alwys. Torres can basiclly go in to a game with the mentality that no mather how shit he plays he will still play the game after. You cant build a team with that kind of mentality.And im still embaressed that some ppl said that Torres would come good this season because he now didnt have too compete for the spot with Drogba. Just look at the strikers of our rivals - Van Persie is proving to be a great signing for United. And they also have Rooney, Chicharito and Welbeck who are all better strikers than ours.City have Dzeko, Balotelli, Aguero, Tevez, who are also undoubtedly better than our strikers. If we don't release him and sign a replacement in January, we will never win the league. We might even risk finishing below 3rd, and we'll slowly start not to be seen as a real threat anymore.
