Badboy 1,526
Drogba must go - the statistics that prove ithttp://www.talksport...istics-prove-itWe all know Drogba is coming to the end of a fantastic career but the worry is Torres is 6 years younger but he ain't playing much better then a washed up Didier we bought for 24 million back in 04. We've had Drogba for 7 full seasons and this is his 8th season at the club. We need Torres to start firing or we're fucked.
Tomo 21,751
Am i the only one that finds the OTT Torres loving cringeworthy?Yes he is a Chelsea player and while he is i fully support him and hope he gets back to his best, but things like defending even his worst displays while slagging off other players who actually performed better. I was in the MH lower on saturday and we all thought it was Nando that scored with the overhead kick going in off the bar instead of hitting Frank and when Neil announced it was Frank there was groans like the goal was disallowed which was quite frankly embarrising.I hope we can see the best out of him but here there is not getting away from the fact he has got a long way to go and his "favrotism" treatment he gets while slagging off other players in the process is quite frankly annoying. PS how he has a banner at The Bridge yet Drogba doesn't beats me. Blue Armour, manpe and Peace.
Henri 115
This kid aint gonna shine in Chelsea because we aint a club building a team on one player only. Look at his pastwhen and why was he a killer in front?. Because he was the only one up there getting served. Here he playsalmost as a wing, and there are many players who want the ball and want to finish, and thats not bad except forthe kid. Now he plays like a build up to goal server and our idiot coach says that is good?, that not El Nino!. Alot of Benching time and a big ego to compite with, yeah,. the great Drog. I really doubt he can shine hereat CFC, but i have no doubt he aint finished yet, and his next club will see him comeback. We just dont have the playstyle and time to get him back on track, and who can blame us?. Except i blame our idiot owner for letting hisdesire control his brain function. Though something I did note v. Sunderland was his persistence to now get into the box. He was forced wide a few times, but he made more efforts than previous to get into the box so others could turn provider. He also showed natural instinct to go to the far back post and attempt to meet Bosingwa's over hit crosses. Sunderland was good game for him, some basic attributes of a striker returned to him.Long way to go for him to recapture some of the old form & characteristics, but if he builds on that performance we'll see better work ethics. He cannot afford to do another 1 step forward, 2 step backwards scenario.

Kostas 1,468
I gave up on Torres after today. Will be depressing to read excuses for him from now on. BLionheart
Kajo 176
11 - Fernando Torres has now failed to score in 11 consecutive Premier League appearances, beating his previous worst record of 10 apps (between Jan-Apr 2011). Decline.

Fernando 6,585
I thought he was ok.But in the end is the same stuff over and over again. No good wingers, and little creativity in the midfield. While we blame the coaches and fire them, and never fix this department. Sigh. Las7 951
Step 1 : Buy a right winger.Step 2 : Play Danni in the center.Step 3 : Stop wasting time with the Ladyboy.Completely agree, no good enough strikers around to sign right now - we need a good right winger who can pass rather than cross
Las7 951
I hope we sign a forward or right winger in this transfer Window, I don't think we can put all of our chips on Torres and Lukaku isn't ready according to AVB. So we need to get someone as a forward or get a right winger and move Sturridge centrally. A lot of people forget that Torres's time at Chelsea has been pretty much injury free, but he is a striker with a history of a few months missed due to injuries. I don't think that a player that's hiding from goals can really lead us into the difficult fixtures.Just quoting myself from the beginning of the monthSry about the double post
