Well the article gets my attention for having a quote of AVB where it says:

‘I have no problem dropping players. You have to persist, but it can never compromise the objectives of your team and the things you want to achieve.

When i read that, it's not Torres that comes to my mind, but Lampard!

For me Torres has played far better then Lampard in the last 3 games...well with the exception of the last game, but yet Torres gets sub of, and Lampard manages to continue playing full 90 minutes...

That just sounds a bit hypocritical to me!

Nando did a long interview while on international duty. Hopefully his site will translate the interview as it sometimes does. If you can't wait, google translate is your friend. Very good bits about Chelsea. He brings up the same points about speed of Chelsea's game, integrating younger players and being more vertical. Very, very kind words about Sturridge.

How many times have we actually seen Torres in the box? How many times have we seen Torres, whilst in the box or near, receive a decent pass? I cant remember many. Let me ask you this, how many times have we seen Torres on the wing or half way line with the ball? Plenty. Im not saying its everyones fault but Torres' but you cant say the guy has problems when he has been given a good service. The problem lies deeper than Torres. In our 3 games, the only striker to score was Anelka...and he was being used as a winger.
