Badboy 1,526
I have never come across a Chelsea player that has disappointed me as much as Torres. I don't care what people say at least Sheva tried his heart out and genuinely fought for the badge ! Torres doesn't even attempt to make the run anymore and the joker is talking about making the Spain team. I am really fed up with him now and I just want to see us offload him because its really annoying having him around the club ! MrExcalibur100 7,124
Torres is still needed for the remainder of the season, unfortunately. Not because he's a good player, but we need to rotate Eto'o. Eto'o doesn't have age on his side and can't play every game.

Special Juan 28,141
Seems like the only viable option with Mr Costa coming the other way. He get's his old team and we get another striker plus rid of a lump of deadwood.

duo11bluecl 207
Malouda treatment to a near £200k per week player lol...that will be lowest of the low for both him and the club
BlueLion. 21,491
The thing that saddens me is I remember back to deadline day 2011, and all the excitement. I celebrate a Torres goal more than anyone else's, because there's a part of me that just hopes he can put just one good run together. But it isn't ever going to happen. He'll leave in the summer, and he won't even have scored 50 goals to match his £50 million price tag. Such a shame. As a rule of thumb I refuse to get excited over transfers anymore. Aim low and avoid disappointment.

CHOULO19 24,332
if we don't offload him, can he at least get the Malouda treatment? That's my last hope when it comes to Torres.Anyway, wish him good wherever he goes. You kinda just wished him bad in the sentence before! Barbara 15,149
You kinda just wished him bad in the sentence before! I'm not even sure he'd be that much bothered tbh. He'd still have his fat check...Also the main implication is that I hope he leaves and once it happens I wish him well. But if he stays I hope he's striker #4 at least.... which is almost Malouda treatment. A 4th striker would basically only train with the main team. Wouldn't even be at the bench for 80% of the matches. Anything so I won't see him wearing our jersey.

duo11bluecl 207
Team scored 6, he scored 0, says it all really doesn't it. But then again he 'worked hard' yesterday, making runs so he will be able to live and fight another day
Gilvorak 3,734
Am I a hopeless romantic for wishing there's still a player left in the corpse that is Torres in there somewhere? If Eto'o is indeed out for weeks as reports are claiming imagine if he finally delivered for us in the next couple of weeks? I think even the biggest hater would forgive him for the past 3 years. Him regaining form for the title run in and preventing his former club from winning the title would be some story.Sadly we're probably going to see more scuffed shots, runs into blind alleys, mis-controlled balls & him going into hiding. Even his teammates don't even trust him anymore, Hazard in particular doesn't rate him at all.
