Report from BBC:

2026: Right then... worrying developments for Chelsea fans, if what worries you is completely speculative chat on social networking sites... word on the Tweet is that Benfica have "pulled David Luiz off the plane to London" and say they are "analysing" Chelsea's offer for the centre-half. I reiterate, that's unconfirmed as far as I know.

:(

seeing as its twitter and that hes expected to land in about half hour, i highly doubt hes gna get pulled off the plane when its in flight :champions:

BREAKING NEWS : ANDY CARROLL HAS ALREADY BEEN A VICTIM OF CRIME AFTER ONLY BEING IN LIVERPOOL FOR 2 HOURS emo4.gifemo4.gif

Hahaha a promising start.

Can you people actually believe that we are going to have 2 BEST strikers in the world? If anyone would ask me who's a better striker then Drogba I'd say "Torres maybe"

Maybe Torres was unhappy at Liverpool's medical department and chose to come to ours.

Frankly, I see no future for that player at Chelsea, I hope I'm wrong!

lol....id say his unhappy liverpool are nowhere near to winning any trophy in the near future.......

Why not? It's not like he's changed countries, it's the same league and he's not new to it. In fact I expect him to score even more than he did with Liverpool (maybe not in the first games), but he can adapt quickly.

He will receive balls from everywhere, he'll have more chances than he did with Lpool imo.

LIVERPOOL fan Shaun McCormack got himself a new name for Christmas - and is now called Fernando Torres.

The internet trader said: "It's a dream come true. I know he isn't having the greatest of seasons but, for me, he's the best striker on the planet.

"I did think about changing my name to Steven Gerrard, but I wanted something a little more flamboyant."

Shaun, from Scunthorpe, Lincs, is now putting his new moniker on his birth certificate and registering it with his bank.

He said his wife Clare and kids found it hilarious, adding: "The only person who hasn't seen the funny side is my mother-in-law. It was worth doing just to see her reaction."
