Bir_CFC 3,455
It's in two weeks. PSG will play four games before facing us, a cup semi today and a massive game against Lyon. We will only play two games against Villa and Everton before facing them, a full week to rest between Everton at home (10/02) and PSG away (17/02).it's going to be the return of Costa too.I'm wondering if Jose will ask the players to press high like last year of just sit back and counter. We should def press high. Their midfield and wingers are all overrated imo. If we're at the top of our game, we can dominate them imo. They didn't impress me at all last year. Magic Lamps 10,590
Maybe our fiercest opponent this season is fatigue. Especially in CL this will be a major factor. Effectively only 19 of the 22 players of our senior squad will play at all. On paper psg are worse than last season and we are a good deal better. We shot ourselves in the foot last year but dominated them for most of the time in both legs. I expect us to advance though we should consider the toll every stage we advance to will take on our fitnessand chances for the BPL. IMO we should make sure to win the league first and rotate up to CL quarterfinal. That will give us time until April to sela the league. If we are still in the CL then, go for it. We have a whole week to rest and prepare after the Everton game now. Happy days.

CurlyHairLikeLuiz 1,625
Not gonna happen, but I hope for a 4-3-3 of: CourtoisAzpi Zouma Terry Luis Ake -- Cesc -- MaticCuad Diego HazardBENCH: Cech, Iva, Cahill, Rambo, Mikel, Willian, RemyHaving a holder covering the wings and taking the pressure off Fab in the middle who can then work his magic. As for Ake - I prefer him over Mikel, he is far more able IMO, and also can share the workload with Matic and allowing for Cesc to primarily go forward, and can act as a false 4-2-3-1 if needed. Will help us cope with the midfield congestion in the match. Thoughts?
supporter 3,088
It's time to start thinking in this crucial Match. There is not a match of 90 minutes, there is a match of 180 minutes, and play smart in the first 90 minutes of the ronda can be decisive.I think Jose will raise this team, with great physical strength, with a defensive wall, giving much freedom to Fabregas, Hazard and Diego Costa to draw our counterattacks. Maybe play with five defenses it may seem boring, but this kind of games are decided by small details, if we maintain our goal to 0 and we managed to score a counterattack, the round will be easier for us.Those 5 defenses would form a security wall difficult to breakI think it might be an interesting option. Courtois Ivanovic John Terry © Zouma/Cahill Kurt please.Azpilicueta Filipe Luis Ramires-------------Matic \ / \ / Fabregas Diego Costa HazardI hope your comments.Regards.

Go anyway. Id travel the 24 hrs to watch the game by myself. I went to London on my own to watch Chelsea play a couple of years ago. We have the return leg at home right? Need to come away from Paris with at least a goal. We score two there and keep a clean sheet I think we have the tie in the bag

Special Juan 26,269
1-1 in Paris and smash the life out of them at home. We are also quite capable of winning in Paris with ease IMO.

chelsea blue 615
Champions League: Premier League hit by Uefa seed changeThe Premier League will have only one top-seeded club in next season's Champions League after Uefa introduced new regulations. For the 2015-16 campaign, the eight top seeds will be the champions from Europe's top seven leagues and the competition's holders. The change in rules should lead to more of Europe's major clubs meeting each other in the group stage.Previously teams were seeded by Uefa's rankings, based on results in Europe. That meant Chelsea and Arsenal were both in pot one for the group-stage draw at the start of the season. But, as there is no Premier League side left in this year's competition, only the English champions will be placed among the top seeds next season.Better be us :blue scalf:
