try something new in the defence, it can't get worse than it is now

No way should we be benching cahill. For me it has to be JT and cahill. Ivan, Cahill, JT, cole is the best pure defensive back line we have as of right now. Agree on the rest of the lineup though obviously.

Also i do realise that cahill has made some mistakes in recent games, but which one of ivan, luiz and cole haven't, also with JT in there i expect a much more tightly run ship.

Torres against his old club? He is going to be worse than in his bad games. He must be forbidden to enter the pitch! Sturridge or Moses to play up front.

Not sure, think this is one of the only games where he might shine, just to prove something.

Former players always score against former teams and I really think he will get on the scoresheet.

The biggest threat is that cunt Suarez! Hope he gets ill or shot by a farmer thinking he's a rabbit!

Fuck me he's quick, remove those teeth and he'd be as quick as Bolt!!!

I don't fear them. They are an insignificant team at 12th position. I fear West Brom more than them. We will win it because that's what we do against mid table teams. They are without Johnson, Lucas, Reina, Borini. Their only decent player left is Suarez, that's not enough.

Start Moses and rest Oscar.

Sturridge will get more than 3 minutes hopefully.

Although they are an average team, it will be tough game.

We must pay attention to Suarez, he is a very good player. I hope our defenders neutralise him and referee doesn't fall for his diving.

If there is record for us to improve on, it's our head-to-head record against Liverpool in the league. We have lost our last 4 league meetings against them and in fact, we have suffered defeat in 6 of our last 8 league meetings against them - W2 L6!

ha but we won the only two important ones, lamps cliniching the title back in 2010 at anfield and Drogs giving us the FA cup.

He won't start any lol. They'll come to the Bridge fresher than fresh. That's our only worry.

That's it. Had a random look at their team sheet, did not know one single name. They played with a guy called morrow as striker. Don't know why Rodgers wants our head. Liverpool lost against West Brom and other but they always turn up against us it is such a disgrace we are always in a situation where we can't counter that cos our players arent't fresh or whatever.

+ we can forget Torres even more in that match

hence i'd go for

-----------Cech---------

Iva---Cahill--Terry--Bertrand

--------Mikel--Rambo-------

-Moses----Mata ----Hazard

-------------Sturridge--------

sub on oscar, torres and maybe marin later.

Not sure we can win this. Maybe when we score first and can counter them.

Easy to say that now when you look at how those seasons ended. Our record against them has been pretty poor in the league in recent seasons(or more like since Mourinho's 3rd season at the club). Just 3 wins in the last 12 league meetings - W3 D2 L7.

Some scary stats -

- Liverpool are looking for a 5th straight victory against Chelsea in the English Premier League.

- Liverpool have achieved the double against Chelsea, 3 times in the last 4 seasons.

- The last time Chelsea beat Liverpool at Stamford Bridge was 3 years ago.

- Liverpool have won the last 5 out of the 6 meetings against Chelsea. The only match Liverpool lost was the 2012 FA Cup Final at Wembley.

- In John Terry’s absence, Chelsea have conceded 12 goals in 5 matches in all competitions.

- Chelsea have not managed to keep a clean sheet in the last 7 matches.

Time to end everything!!
