Čech

Ivanović - Luiz - Cahill - Cole

Ramires - Mikel - Lampard

Hazard - Torres - Mata

I'd like to see us playing 4-3-3 with Mikel as the holding midfielder and Ramires and Lampard frequently pushing forward. Hazard and Mata not really playing on the wings but more behind Torres. I don't think we would lack width with Cole running up and down and Ramires/Ivanović trying to push as well.

According to RDM in his PC, Marin, Malouda and Benayoun are not with the squad in Monaco. Did not travel. We all know Marin is injured but the other 2, well, safe to say they're probably leaving.

EDIT: Bah. Late by second. Damn you Pr22!

Torres: This game couldn't be more special for me. Atletico is the club I support. My commitment is to win.

Torres #cfc on facing Atletico Madrid : "It couldn't be more special. Their fans know I was one of them. I spent 12 years of my life there'

Torres: I'll change nothing that happened last season. It taught me a lot. I know my position here & what I have to do.

Tores: Last season was difficult but end of the season was amazing. We're in a good run now & the new players are settled.

Torres: Difficult change from Liverpool to Chelsea, but it's part of the past. The present is brilliant & the future better.

Mata: For us it's important to win. Fernando and me know this team & they have a lot of big players. #SuperCup

Torres: Since Simeone went there they improved a lot. They must be proud of that and normally the Europa League winner wins but we are sure we will get the trophy... #SuperCup

Mata: For us it's important to win. Fernando and me know this team & they have a lot of big players.

Torres: Since I came to Chelsea I have become a better player & play more out of the box now & gave assists.

RDM: "Atletico are a very good team who won the Europa League last season, they have very talented players

RDM: "We shouldn't forget how hard it was to get here, but it's a European trophy and I'm taking it seriously, we want to win it,"

RDM: "Benayoun, Malouda and Marin haven't travelled, everybody else is here,"

RDM: "Torres has started the season very well but we also have Daniel Sturridge, competition for places is very important.

RDM: "I have seen Falcao a lot, he's a fantastic player, one of the best strikers in the world and he will be a big threat."

RDM on Eden Hazard's impact: "He’s brought a lot of creativity and different options"

RDM: "I'm pleased with our start and the way we've been playing. We can still improve but a good start breeds confidence."

Must mean that Benayoun and Malouda are close to leaving the club before the window closes.

We have said that sentence every time this season so far, when we saw that none of them was on the match squad. :wank2:

This is from Benayoun's twitter:

i think this could be a good opportunity to play Oscar and give him his first start, lampard simply has to play, i would probably go for

usual back 5, cahill and luiz as jt is injured,

mikel lampard

Oscar Mata hazard

torres

then give Moses a good 25 minutes to come on in the second half depending on how is paning out.

We have played 4-3-3 once and that was in pre-season. Probably the usual 4-2-3-1
