Mohammed Seif 1,451
I still support this kid. He had a bad game yesterday. But he has been getting better lately compared to the past few months. It doesn't change the fact that he is a good player and has great potential. He definitely needs to relax his mind a bit. He will come through after the World Cup. Popular Post! DDA 9,937 Posted April 20, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted April 20, 2014 Still got immense love for Oscar but he just hasn't produced the goods when we have needed it most this end of the season. I actually have to say, Mourinho should have known better. With all his experience as a coach he must have taken into account how many games Oscar has played in what is only a short career. We needed to keep Mata as our main number 10 for this season and let Oscar slowly settle into his position. Taking Juan out and saying to Oscar, right you are going to be the main man in the center of midfield was just naieve from Jose. He needs to work in his strength and passing game for sure. Sometimes I do think, if Josh McEachran had really been given a chance in the number 10 role then he would have become as good for us as Ramsey has for Arsenal.McEachran had the best passing game out of all the Chelsea players currently in our first team squad. cchuka 99
He looked really tired and out of it yesterday. He's been lacking his usual spark for some time now. He needs to get it together sooner than later
bushman 2,043
Lacking his usual spark.. Lol. This kid doesn't know what spark means anymore. The only spark left in him is when he goes home to rest. xPetrCechx

kellzfresh 7,229
He should be careful, I hope he's not saving himself for Brazil because that could backfire. Coutinho is miles ahead of him for 3 months now.

Oscar, Neymar, Luiz, Silva, Marcelo are all guaranteed starters for Brazil. Coutinho will take Willian spot if he does make it, not Oscar. I've ran out of explanations for 4months of poor form. The only thing that can explain this is thinking about world cup. Hopefully he picks up for us at least in the champs league. LAB 1,030
I support Oscar. Massive talent. Coal waiting to transform into Diamond. I believe the WC is responsible for his latest dull performances. I am wainting patiently for his 2014/15 season. LDN Blue, zolayes, Mohammed Seif and 1 other

I believe the WC is responsible for his latest dull performances. I am wainting patiently for his 2014/15 season. How can the World Cup be to blame for Oscar's recent inability to generate any lift on the ball when making a cross-field pass, or his choosing to shoot when a pass is much the better option or his completely wayward shots, etc.? It has to be more than just the forthcoming WC.

I just hope that because WC is mostly on his mind the pressure got him. It's either that or something to do with Mata departure or an injury. Can't be anything else that we as fans can figure out. I give the last two possibilities very little chance so i believe it's the WC argument.
htamraz 0
Man, Oscar, Luiz, and Ramirez need to get a grip!...Unfortunate for most brazilians, once they are in the spot-light they lose flair... I pray they come back to form before tomorrow's game.I also hope Willian continues to shine!
bushman 2,043
Since Luiz is not used much, I can understand his frustrations. Ramires has been banned for much longer than he plays. As for Oscar, his mind is not in London, I feel.
