DanishBlue 426
I hope it's not serious. The good thing is that we still have Mata for the number 10 role if Oscar is out for a little amount of time. Our squad depth doesn't look like a bad thing now when Oscar (and Hazard) might be out for our next game. Barbara
different level 1,056
Ugh, if it was my decision to make, I'd forbid our players to play meaningless international games. What makes the matter a bit better is that we have quality depth of our squad and it's not like last year when it was essential to keep the three amigos fit, because the only alternatives in front were Marin and Benayoun. Barbara 15,149
I have another concern in addition to them being fit in 10 days... they're important for their NT's (Oscar has no direct replacement in Brazil's squad - Hernanes may take the playmaker hole, but Felipão usually plays him a bit deeper) and Belgium is in the middle of a WC qualifying, even if they're leading their group. So I'm concerned the managers will decide to play them - because of their importance in the teams - and only worsen the minor injuries they have now. They should rest and properly let their bodies heal instead of making sacrifices... especially Oscar as Brazil is only playing a couple of friendlies. It's one thing to be fit enough to play - or in their case with manageable pain, another completely different thing is to actually be completely healed. I hope Wilmots and Felipão have common sense and are sensible about it.
meetdoscar 335
Hope he recovers soon and well, he could be vital in champions league but thanks to our squad depth he won't really be missed on the pitch.

Popular Post! Term-X 7,891 Posted September 6, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted September 6, 2013 now rotation plan should be did,,give Mata at least full 3 matchs in trequartista. then we can judge,,who's the best in that position...Judge?, there is nothing to 'judge'..We know what type of player Mata is, and we know what type of player Oscar is. Training sessions or any time on the pitch isn't going to turn Mata into an Oscar or vice versa. The Mak 4,459
they should both be fit for everton by the sounds of it anywayHopefully, but it just goes to show the importance of squad depth. Imagine this happened (both Hazard & Oscar out) at some point last year for a longer length of time? No CL football me thinks... kellzfresh
