Superblue 6,372
Wouldn't read much into his comments - i'm pretty sure it's as good as done. He looks a real talent, just keeps everything ticking over orchestrating play from the middle of the park. Very exciting prospect.
ChelseaFanUK 1,014
waste of the clubs time to give him a medical and have him reject the move. He's agreed the contract IMO, had his medical which hes confirmed, signs on dotted line end of Olympics. To me, on previous page when watching the Oscar and Sturridge clip, it looks to me as if Oscar is saying "I signed" as he leans towards Sturridge
JDY 1,290
He's probably been told to keep his mouth shut for the time being like Hazard was, until an official announcement.
Henrique 9,133
First thing: Oscar was okay, but Neymar and Hulk were by miles the best players on the pitch.Second thing: Oscar will become a Chelsea player at the end of the Olympics, and did not take medical exames in UK, in fact the took in Brazil and he met Chelsea's doctors to give them the results."That was not to delay anything". "I only focused in getting the gold medal"."I will decide everything at the end of the Olympics".In Brazil its a done deal, so he is not considering his options or waiting untill the end of the tournament to decide if he will move or not, imo even Chelsa will want to wait untill the tournament, because imagine if we pay a lot of money to get this guy and then he got a huge injure and stop playing football for one year?one last thing: this GB team is fucking awful and got no soul. Let him focus on helping his country win gold for the first time in their history without the added media attention and constant spotlight on him every time he's in public. He'll be ours soon enough. You mean the guy who fluffed every decent chance he got? ...except for the penalty which was the result of a world. class. dive.

Cz4rny1337 24
Or simply he want focus on NT, and don't leave the training camp. But acc. to Lance he is after interview for Chelsea TV: http://www.lancenet.com.br/minuto/Massagista-Chelsea-Oscar-Acho-certo_0_738526317.htmlBTW he exchange shirts with Sturridge: http://globoesporte.globo.com/futebol/selecao-brasileira/noticia/2012/07/apos-trocar-camisa-com-sturridge-oscar-confirma-exames-no-chelsea.html#atleta-oscarI'm calm about him in Chelsea. Django 83
Really impressed with Oscar tonight. His passing was wonderful and he was constantly looking for space. My reservation was that he would be a little too lightweight, but I never saw that as an issue at all this evening. Delighted things are looking good in terms of him signing us.On a side note, anybody saying Neymar didn't play well must've been doing about 4 other things while watching the match. A player does not have to go on mazey dribbles or score every chance to show real quality.

DDA 9,941
I missed tonight's warm up game between GB and Brazil. Could someone tell me how Oscar got on and if there is any highlights i could watch to catch up !?
Rahul Haque 57
this is a done deal. he swapped shirts with sturridge and shook his hand and his post match interview almost confirmed it. i've not seen incidents where you have a medical and then decide against a team, especially when the team is the european champions. that's crazy. OneMoSalah 8,886
Stop it, you sound like a RAWKite harping on about Gylfi Sigurdsson!I am sorry Read somewhere that Oscar thinks his place in the Brazilian national team could be in jeopardy if he goes to Chelsea and doesn't play as often. Yet again I read that on twitter so fuck knows if its true or not. Sounds like it could be though because well look back a year ago Ganso was their number 10, had bad form and lost his place to Oscar. Could someone tell me how Oscar got on and if there is any highlights i could watch to catch up !?Oscar was at the helm of the Brazil attack, definitely evident once he got subbed off they had little shape/organisation when they went forward. His crosses and passes were pure class, he has certainly earned his place as their #10. Kind of a pit that the two goals were a bit weak (Sandro had a lucky chip, Neymar converted a penalty after a complete and utter dive )
Chelsea? 892
can he be as effective playing in the back 2?
